“Chief Touch The Clouds” (Maȟpíya Ičáȟtagya or, Maȟpíya Íyapat’o) was born sometime in 1838 and crossed-over to the Spirit World, one final time, on September 5th 1905. He is a Chief of the Minneconjou Teton Lakota Sioux People, known for his bravery & skill in battle, physical strength and diplomacy, in council. The youngest son of Chief Lone Horn, he was also brother to: Chief Spotted Elk (later known as : Chief Big Foot), Chief Frog & Chief Hook Nose.. and there is evidence that he is a cousin to Chief Crazy Horse.
