  • Have you ever wondered how to breath from your diaphragm? Do you ever find yourself forcing your air out attempting to find breath support? Would you like to connect with your power by developing an even and balanced exhale? In this voice lesson, we are going to engage the muscles that govern the breathing process. You'll gain greater access to a more supported and natural exhale. I recommend wearing loose fitting clothes so as not to constrict your diaphragm's natural movement.

This V breathing out skill is amazing. It is a huge breakthrough for me. Through this exercise I realize I have not been exhaling correctly or consistently while singing. My voice used to wobble, now it is more solid . My breath support is more stable n I could sing lower with my chest voice. My mixed n head voice is less straining n weak… thank you so much Madeleine! You are the best vocal teacher who can teach effectively. I have been watching hundreds of video but I always follow yours n practice with your skills diligently! You r amazing! God bless!

Hi! I really wanna know. What parts of your body should get tired when youre singing and which shouldn't? Is it normal for starters to get tired throats? My jaw also tends to get tired, are there exercises for that?
My abdomen also gets tired, will that go away as I sing more?
Sometimes i feel a bit dizzy too cuz theres a lot of air going in and out and not much being absorbed. Is that normal? Will it go away or do you have to do exercises.
Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge. Bye:-)

Lovely lesson today as always. Can I request a video on fixing flat notes and also the use of dynamics?

Absolutely! We have a live stream planned within the next few weeks on how to keep your voice from going flat. That's one of my favorite things to teach. Thanks for the suggestion!

Could you make a video on how to sing in tune or pitch? I'm really not sure if pitch and tune are the same thing or not.

We made a lesson on singing on pitch a little while ago. Hope it helps. ruclips.net/video/qVE2xFjhhIE/видео.html

Hi Madeleine! I am excited to put this lesson to use, but I noticed that the Skillshare lesson disappeared. Hopefully, the lesson will back up soon!

It will be live on Monday (February 13TH). Skillshare only allows one video upload per week. Since we just uploaded the Inhale lesson four days ago, they took the Exhale lesson down until next week. 😁

@@MadeleineHarveyVoice Oh, no wonder! Thank you so much! The inhale lesson helped me tremendously so I can't wait for the exhale lesson! 😄
