It's complicated if Neuer is better or Kahn. Neuer is at least more successful, that's why, tbh, I like him more. Also Kahn lost his reflex by much towards the end of his career what broke my heart. I can say both are equally good. But Kahn is Kahn. Look at my other comment. It says everything.

People hating on Kahn need to remember that he actually wasn't a bad guy, rather this personality helped to keep away unnecessary shit, for example this one player once, for no reason, tried to kick the ball out of his hand when he clearly had it, and he went against the player to tell him to fuck up before he gets knocked. Today, players dive left and right. I'm more happy with his playstyle than the current dive 2 win playstyle. It saddens me really.

Oliver Kahn is Germany's greatest goalkeeper of all time, in my opinion. Manuel Neuer is s fantastic keeper but Kahn was in a different league. I really liked Andreas Kopke also.
@eoe123321i have to argue that Robert Kovac and Thomas Linke were awesome centre backs for Bayern. Van Buyten played with Kahn too and arguably the greatest Brazilian centre half in a long long time (I LOVE Thiago Silva btw) Lucio played with Kahn also. Demichellis was solid for Bayern for a long period also. I'd have Lucio and Thomas Linke in their primes over any current Bayern Centre halfs at present.
@eoe123321 i dont argue with the quality of Lahm and Hummels especially. Boateng was in good form for a few seasons, same with Alaba (i love Alaba). Phillip Lahm is the only defender from that generation id pick over others that played with Kahn. Bixente Lizarazu was such a good left back in particular. Lucio is better (much better than ANY current Bayern defender) he had it all in his game. I think Thomas Linke was much better and more consistent than Jerome Boateng. Demichellis was solid and super consistent for many years at Bayern and at a much older age for Man City recently too. I remember Thomas Helmer also and Matthias Sammer, now they were proper defenders. Jurgen Kohler at Dortmund was fabulously as well. Christian Worns was another great centre half.
