Such a great song. The acoustic version on the album really makes you feel the subject matter of the lyrics better but they're really powerful lyrics regardless. Non-acoustic version of this video has some amazing riffs and just absolutely stunning elements. I love this band.
I have found that when I sing in my car, not just to BBC but other bands too, I find myself imitating (or trying to, at least) Jack's voice. I'm obsessed with his voice. Gorgeous.
my Swedish flatmate got me onto these guys...for ages I thought they were an obscure Swedish band (singing in English)! But I love them and am spreading the word of their greatness! LOVE this song!
There definitely shouldn't be any competition between two door cinema club and bombay bicycle club. I genuinely love them both and can't wait for them to both dominate the music industry :)
alex trimble and jack steadman are freaking adorable in totally different ways. Alex= a lovable ginger that just makes you melt. Jack=an irrestistable and charming kid that blows you away. LOVE EM BOTH. BOMBAY AND TWO DOOR ARE GOOD IN DIFFERENT WAYS, just like Alex and Jack
people thinking two door are superior to bombay is the most ridiculous thing ever. bombay have such soul. all i hear listening to two door is tinkly tunes that'll run out of steam in a year or two. bombay's songs relentlessly fantastic.
JoHo.. Amazing Soundscape... back to Jonny Marr.... Back to the 60ths...super cool song... Video is brilliant.. a new fan is born.... greetings Projekt U 9
i've been listening to this guys and, i don't know how, but they're tune just make me feel totally different. it's like i could feel, smell and imagine relaxing landscapes...
OMG JEALOUS! i worship him. with his funny looks and way of singing. and eyes. and i cant help but roll around with laughter when he pops over he wall in his video. XD
These guys are always doing cool stuff like free gigs and small acoustic sets. I think that if and when they get big, they might stop that but thats what i love about them :|
There's something so very english about this band. Dare i say, at times, there's a smidge of Ian Curtis in Jack's voice voice. Definitely a mix of familiarity and uniqueness though - love it! Looking forward to seeing them at 2000 trees :)
i'm so happy i stumbled on this tune! i reckon it's better if you discover music by urself, rather than having it suggested, makes it so personal :) they're amazing!!
while at a two door cinema club show i couldnt help but realize, while they sound very good...they just sound like other bands. BBC and TPC have their own sound
@sunnyforengland Woo! I was going to go to that signing but i just HAD to see BBC and get to the front. I met Miles Kane though from The Rascals and The Last Shadow Puppets he was walking through the NME when Fouls were about to play and i managed to talk to him and get a photo with him, good times! Yeah i'm gunna go this year, the line up doesnt look to shabby I love seeing all the up and coming bands that get to play in the small tents. The Big Pink are just plain noise live, shocking it is!
personally, i find that this song has a similar style to their second and third albums. However, i recommend listening to their first album, turn off the brightlights, from start to finish. Brilliant music. The guitars swing, bass grooves, drums are calculated and rhythmic and the atmosphere can only be put as 'comfortably depressive'. Give it a go mate.
I want to go to the Record Shop and buy their album. BBC excites and energizes me, but it's so hard to get a normal physical album of them in the Netherlands.
@MrStephenBradley I saw them on the NME tour at Brixton Academy the line up was: The Drums Big Pink (who i recommend never seeing live) Bombay Bicycle Club The Maccabees I also saw them at Underage Festival two years ago where they played just before The Maccabees on the main stage :)
Another great BBC-song! I Like the video very much, even though it's rather "disturbing". By the way: The singer's voice sounds different compared to other songs.
I know, I found out about Vampire Weekend through glastonbury and now they are one of my top bands. I found out about these through a music channel on sky.
omg cant wait till next week and i can go see them :D lool theyre named after the takeaway indian place at the top of my road -see them a lot round that area too.
I'm looking forward to their first album. Jack Steadman has a great voice. The dark colour of his voice reminds to Ian Curtis but you can also compare it with Paul Banks(Interpol) and Tom Smith(Editors)
Still a great song in 2023!! Great band
This song is helping me get through some tough times. Bombay Bicycle Club = such a life saver.
i am in love with bombay bicycle club and two door cinema club, they're the two bands that i NEVER get bored of. i love them both too much for words
Such a great song. The acoustic version on the album really makes you feel the subject matter of the lyrics better but they're really powerful lyrics regardless. Non-acoustic version of this video has some amazing riffs and just absolutely stunning elements. I love this band.

The acoustic version of this song is the nicest thing to play. Just so chilled out and relaxing!

YES
A mix of The Kooks and Kasabian's music, with Muse and Kaiser Chiefs' love-child singing. Genius!
These guys are always doing cool stuff like free gigs and small acoustic sets. I think that if and when they get big, they might stop that but thats what i love about them :|
I love this song...

didn't expect him to have such a deep voice, but i love it.
while at a two door cinema club show i couldnt help but realize, while they sound very good...they just sound like other bands. BBC and TPC have their own sound
