- Full steam ahead! The 2010 team trip is taking the Mammut athletes Anna Stöhr, Alex Johnson, David Lama, Céderic Lachat, Magnus Midtboe and Jakob Schubert to Sheffield in the north of England. The raw gritstone blocks and puritanical climbing etiquette of the legendary Peak District offer an attractive prospect. Cordless drills have no place in the Peak District, which has a clean climbing ethic.
Beautiful areas such as the Peak District are incredibly underrated, this video shows that places like these are outdoor sporting heaven.
absolut geniale aufnahmen mit der heli-cam! so dynamische bilder habe ich jetzt noch nie gesehen....wird immer besser, a ja, das klettern war auch cool
The song that I like from minute 3:00 to 4:20 is "Had a Taste of It". The group is- Morphologue, Album: Midnight Nevertheless. Artists: Myriam Stucki and Patrik Zeller.
@newbolo This music is composed by Patrik Zeller. Unfortunately, you can't buy it, but you can watch the movie again and again... (-;
¡Excelente video!
danke jungs für die geile zeit in england..
I think the voice is Myriam Stucki and the song is composed by Patrik Zeller. Can't find it anywhere.
David Lama wasn't even born yet when the compressor route was done. David Lama free-climbed the route.
SIN PALABRAAS!
Yep, but it gives you natural features and weaknesses in the rock in order to place your own protection. You don't get a bolt hole pre-drilled in the rock, do you ?
very nice video, very nice Oktocopter-Shots!
hi, can anybody send me information on the quadrocopter he used for this? or where i can find one? thanks
@elmonty69 Check out our last comment: "This music is composed by Patrik Zeller. Unfortunately, you can't buy it, but you can watch the movie again and again... (-;"
who is the female voice and song @ 8:56" The futures Bright but the past I do not forget"
anybody knows the name of the song and artist? thx
"Pre-practiced bolted rock climbing doesnt sound so cool does it?" - Says the man narrating a video where a bunch of professional sport climbers climb chalked up routes with pre-placed gear.
What is the song that starts at 8.32?
@wcleary91; The man! Probably the most gifted and natural rock athlete of all time.
seriously, as long as Anna is there, who cares about bolts and bits and cams? ITS ANNA for crikeys sake!
No, screwing damages the rock...
lol, anna stöhr is climbing brad pit ^^
DAVID LAMA, BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I know exactly who he is, but it doesnt change the circumstances. Its kind of hard to spout opinions on style and ethics when the people you are supporting are a complete contradiction.
Bigfoot! At 7:28 next to his head!
You know what? I really hate people who argue on bolts vs natural protection. If you want to climb on cams, climb on cams. If you want to climb on bolts, climb on bolts. It's THAT simple.
Screw everything else.
the rock doesn't give you cams or ropes, putting cams and ropes on the rock is like putting cams and ropes in your own head. Either that or I'm a moron and that doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
Shame it had to show David Lama. Bet he would love to bolt up some of those routes like he did on the compressor route. Good job Jonny Dawes was there to stop him!
