RAM-7 is the only viable MW weapon now. Unless you like LMG’s then I’d say use the SA87 or PKM, they melt.

Amax doesn’t need a nerf , it’s tricky for most people to control and the 45round mag is nothing in quads. Hopefully it’s only a small change as I feel it’s a balanced gun
It little overpower objectively. Also the amax has high damage per bullet vs a rifle 55.6 30 round mag.

@@Craigster11 close range it's alright but at long ranges it's a goddamn laser beam. Like the archangel barrel, 60 round mag, monolithic suppressor and maybe the canted hybrid and you've got something that's damn good at long range.

I personally feel it’s rather balanced especially given the ttk of the BOCW guns that I still see much more frequently than the AMAX.
The galil is still has around 100ms faster ttk than the cw rifles on average
@@bradenmchenry995 ttk isnt everything man. It has high recoil, low ammo count in the mag, has low bullet velocity(below 1000m/s), and its handling isnt the best. Its pretty balanced. The only reason they are nerfing it is because they want to make Cold War guns meta, and move away from MW.

Amax was top-tier when aug, M16 were meta. Aug and M16 were easier to use so people prefered them over amax. Amax has the best ttk for ar mid, long range.

The AMAX should be left alone, it is one of the few guns that has a perfect balance, It hits hard, but lacks the ammo of other guns, as well as higher recoil. Raven really is screwing WZ over, Honestly wish they had never integrated BO into it, it has really ruined WZ for me.

The gun is very balanced amongst the modern warfare guns because it rewards the skilled players for being able to tame its recoil.

I don't often comment. But this is one of the most intense games your lot has ever had, and I have been watching since before the introduction of Warzone. Well done Jack, and I look forward to seeing how you can top this.
Amax has plenty of draw backs to warrant it's qualities. It doesn't need a nerf. Yes it hits hard but it has a lot of recoil and a low mag size. It's a balanced weapon imo especially compared to Cold War weapons that literally have no recoil with 60-80 round fast mags.

High recoil and smaller magazine in exchange for more power and quicker TTK. Making every gun have the same TTK would be a boring dull experience.
I've literally used AMAX as my primary since it's release in MW Season 4. It was slept on for for MONTHS. Right now the meta is the healthiest it's been and personally I like being able to experiment with off-meta builds & other weapons entirely and still having a fighting chance unlike the DMRzone and FFARzone where those weapons were loadout necessity.

Stupidest "Meta" weapon nerf yet. Why? Because this is the first Meta gun that noobs will have a difficult time controlling, and it was only the top AR in Warzone for like, 2 weeks.
The Amax is only good on a goodplayer. I consider something OP if noobs become instant top players using a specific weapon. Dont now how it is on PC but on console it takes some skill to control the recoil.

Tbh the balance of weapons right now is perfect.
Mmmmm... not quite... but it’s close... in any case... the problem this game has is... SBMM... it’s too strong... when I started playing the game I used to win at least 1 game a week... now I win one or two games a month... my lobbies are diamond 1... yet I have a 1.25 kd... I play against people who have 2+ kd in a regular basis... not fun... not enjoyable... they need to easy on SBMM or Battlefield will fuck them up in the player count pretty quickly

I don't mind them nerfing the CR-56, but I think they need to also buff many MW weapons, or nerf a bunch of CW weapons, because the AMAX was the last truly competitive weapon from MW, barring the Marksman/Sniper Rifles, and I really hate that it's become Coldwarzone.

Well,i do agree...the current meta is the closest to balance we had since CW Introduced. I have seen a lot of players with different loadout for the past few matches instead of just the same 2 meta guns

The recoil is not that high, it alot of visual recoil and effective recoil with high zoom optic

Been using the Amax since it launched, rarely touched another gun in MP other than that. I may be biased but I think it's balanced, if they increase the recoil it's still ok, hopefully they don't nerf the damage

The only problem with frequently changing the meta is that it forces players who don’t play as often to spend a couple hours leveling up the gun in multiplayer in order to actually have a good enough loadout to be competitive
