The Bangalore Fort was constructed in 1537 and started off as a mud fort. It was built by Kempe Gowda l, the founder of Bangalore. Haider Ali replaced the mud fort with a stone fort in 1761. It was later conquered by an army of the British East India Company on 21st March 1791 during the Third Mysore War. Now, all that remains of the fort is the Delhi Gate and remnants of two bastions.

Yes, this was built only by the Mysore Wodeyors. Kempe didn't make any Ganesha temple here. Kempe Gowda had built the Dodda Ganesha temple in Basavanagudi.

This fort is a witness to the bravery and loyalty of 2 Sultans of Mysore and The Brave Commander of Fort MIR BAHADUR KHAN SHAHEED Saheb who in the age of 70s & Commander SYED HAMID Saheb fought like a Tiger 🐯 along with the brave Mysore Army against the UK 🇬🇧 attack in 3rd Anglo Mysore War .
UK 🇬🇧 as usual entered the fort due to treachery and in the night and Uk 🇬🇧 has always won by treachery against our Hero Mysore Sultanat E Khudadad Army with the assistance of Gaddars Traitors .
Today only 5 % of the fort remains unfortunately as Uk 🇬🇧 demolished due to fear of arising of another Tippoo Sultan Tiger 🐯 Shaheed .
Indeed Mysore became world 🌎 famous prosperous due to famous rule of 2 sultans and their development of Mysore state from the small boundary of Seringapatam to Vast lands of South India 🇮🇳.
