It's more than that. Whether it's a helicopter, fixed-wing aircraft, jetliner or drone, the offence is the same. Endangering an aircraft. If the aircraft is manned, it's prison time for sure. For a drone, who knows, but it is still a very serious offence.

Very serious ref the firearm threat, there is a BIG possibility they will lose their licence and firearms confiscated if this is reported to the local constabulary. Personally, I would approach the firearms officer and let him listen to the recording . That's very serious.
A fairly recent incident where a drone was shot at by a landowner resulted in the following. A police armed response vehicle arrived and the license holder not only had his license removed but also had his guns seized instantly

Obviously wanted set up the story for what the 'secretary' has to say to the police when they turn up.
