It used to be double boost if I remember but got changed because it felt so broken when those lucky people got two in a row. Like what do you do against a Giratina Altered with +4 atk/defense at the start of the match? It's a bit sad they don't get the double boost anymore but oh boy the chance in this video feels more like a 30-40% chance to boost instead.
@@NepNeppy 4x defense 4x attack giratina could basically solo a whole team on 0 shields vs 2 shield

Just to clarify, some people believe it is currently a bug/feature. Apparently, if the Dusknoir is at max level and excitement (friendship mechanic) the boosts become very frecuent, around 40%. I saw this being featured on TorettoMaster's channel but idk if it has been confirmed or just superstition but there is something going on with the boosts because they do become a lot more frecuent

how do you get a level 50.5 pokemon?
If you best buddy a pokemon and have them as your active buddy, you get 1 extra level (2 power ups). So when its not buddy its level 49.5 and as an active best buddy its 50.5.

6:05 this may be the most unwinnable match I have ever seen at mid to high level ELO ranges. There was never a wincon at all and the opponent even played terribly but won just based on hard counter.
