Thanks for the question, Jim! No, this update does not work on all receivers. You must have a StarFire™ 6000 Receiver or newer with a Gen 4 display or newer. The planter must be in field operation mode, meaning planter unfolded, not ground engaging. The distance between the tractor receiver and implement receiver changes when the planter is folded versus unfolded. The software is looking for the implement receiver to cross the ‘A’ or ‘B’ points within a certain time after the machine receiver crosses that point, and when the planter is folded it takes too long for that receiver to cross the line and the calibration will fail.
