My only complaint. And seriously the only huge problem in my eyes. The global ranger has rear ac vents. I figured they’d carry it over and never doubted they wouldn’t. And they didn’t. Why? Fleets, kids, adults, dogs all can benefit from rear ac vents, and they just give us a little cubby hole. That was the last thing I thought they’d remove from the global ranger for us.

Supply and demand I think is another factor - most people buy trucks for basic transportation which explains why many manufacturers are getting out of the car business - found a google research that indicated “75% of truck owners use their truck to tow about once a year and just 35% of owners actually haul something more than once a year”…. Combine this with 25% margins on trucks vs 10% on passenger cars it’s a perfect recipe for these continuous upward trending of prices above and beyond inflation

Nice truck cod Tim. The Raptor is a bargain in the Raptor family. Not the most capable version, but still very impressive.
I used to comment more when you had the PowerBoost F150. I switched from my PowerBoost to a Tremor with the Torsen front differential and ProPower Onboard. The power was more than enough.
I have since gotten rid of all my new vehicles while I still could get most of my $$ back. I’m kinda protesting new vehicles pricing. The large increases are problematic, especially now that Ram is discounting their pickups quite heavily. Some poor bugger bought a Ram last year for over asking & now sees up to 20% off of retail. (Here in Alberta Canada) I respect buyer beware, but sooo many owners are owing so much more than what a brand new truck of identical content sells for this year!! Ugghhhh.
My current newest 4x4 that can go off-road is a 79 GMC, loaded up for the year and running a serious powertrain, fuel injected 503 (because I can 😂😂) with the 6 speed automatic, lifted on 33s and lockers front & rear. It does not ride nearly as nice as the worst riding new products mind you,,,, 😂😂. My newest truck is a 2003 F150 Lightning (one of 3 I own). I daily drive my 2001 Lightning and have another Lightning from 1995. All are mint, but the 2003 & 1995 have less than 40,000 km on them each. They get lightly driven, the 20p1 is a truck! I tow with it, everything. I have a 2002 Harley Davidson F150 on factory 22” wheels and with 4wd, but it’s a mall crawler. Easy to get into because it’s low. Tows well though. It’s my SUV so to speak.
I have 24bother classic trucks I drive off & on, including a 66 C10 283 automatic that is restored to rock stock,,, thought you might like that one, but the rest are mostly 67-72 C10 & K10 models.
I decided to get into vehicles that generally don’t depreciate and appreciate instead!! Make some money, yet get to drive as well!!
If I get a new vehicle it will be one of 2 F350 DuperCab Dually XLT 4x4 s my buddy has coming into his dealership. The most base trucks that still have heated seats & 5th wheel prep. 7.3 gas and a 6.7 diesel. I will be hauling a slide in, box mounted, Arctic Fox truck camper with slide out. I’m sure the gas powertrain is more than enough for that,,,, but the HO diesel is soo nice as well. 😊
Keep ‘em coming!! Just thought it would touch base. I am busier than ever so I don’t often get to get this close to being caught up!! I like the new Tundras a lot!! They were a consideration before I decided everything is too expensive. A SR5 Double Cab TRD Off-Road model is a very good price for today’s market.
    Later, Eh!!

      - the rear side bedstep is pretty much useless with the tailgate down unlike the corner steps in the GM twins.
      - no available sunroof
      - a sea of cheap looking grey plastic all the cabin even on Lariat.
Some pros over the GM twins:
      - available V6
      - rear seats fold down not just up
      - can apparently fit a 4x8 flat between the wheel wells
