- In this video, we will show you the setup of a sheep net.
Large areas of grass can be apportioned for guarding sheep. Begin with cutting the grazing area of the nets to prevent loss of energy.
The sheep fence construction begins with what will be the gate later, where the first post is fixed in the ground. The posts are now set up one after the other and the corners are provided with an additional post, as needed. The next net is set up in the same manner, beginning at the gate.
Where the nets meet they need to overlap, i.e. both nets are connected. Both net posts are tied together at the gate. The nets are stretched against the ground posts in all corners. This prevents the nets from sagging. Warning signs printed on both sides should be attached to the fence at regular intervals.
After the setting up and turning on the pasture fence device you will need to check the fence tension.
We will also show how to take down a sheep net which requires special care as this is the only way to guarantee it can be reused again.

Nabend wie viel Joule hat das Strom gerät? 3000 oder 4000 Volt ist finde ich zu wenig. LG Christian

Das im Video gezeigte hotSHOCK B4 Gerät hat eine Ausgangsenergie von 0,35 Joule. Dieses verkaufen wir aber so nicht mehr, das Nachfolgegerät ist das hotSHOCK ABN5 mit 0,37 Joule Ausgangsenergie: agrar.horizont.com/de/farmer-r-abn-5.html
Für einen Schafzaun empfehlen wir eine Spannung von mindestens 3000 Volt, besser 4000 Volt, die ausreichend ist. Man kann aber natürlich auch mehr verwenden.

@@horizont-animalcare moin gibt es auch stärkere mit 5 oder mehr Joule weil 0.37 ist nix. 🤔 LG Christian
Wir haben auch Weidezaungeräte mit mehr als 5 Joule.
Das horiSMART N280 (Art. Nr.: 10748) hat eine Ausgangsenergie von 14 Joule.
Für Schafe gut geeignet ist außerdem das hotSHOCK N50 (Art. Nr. 10614).

Das Netz mit 90cm ist für meine Schafe nicht geeignet da sie drüber springen
