In a way, it makes more sense out of context, because that way you don't expect it to make much sense.
When you see it _in_ context though and it's still just as confusing, bizarre and terrifying... yeah.

huh, i did not realize chewbaka's family was in live action at any point. for some reason I want to say this means their cannon now, but I also was under the impression his family had died or something before the end of the war with the empire. now I need to do research on legacy content again

The only saving grace was the short animation with boba fett about 3/4 of the way through it. They should have just made the whole thing an animation
