I am so excited to finally share this Christmas EP with you all! I have been working on this project nonstop for the past 7 months and it's finally done! I really hope you all like this song, along with the others ones on the EP. I tried my best to make each song capture a different aspect of Christmas/the Holiday Season, so that there was a song for everyone on the EP. Merry Christmas and I hope you enjoy!
This song is meant to capture the Christian/Traditional side of Christmas. I'm a Christian, and grew up celebrating Christmas with manger scenes, Christmas Pageants, and Advent wreaths. This song is actually the first Christmas song I ever wrote. I wrote it when I was 15 and was going through a very hard time. It was a reminder to myself, that even when I felt like I was useless and nothing, even when I felt like I was at rock bottom, someone out there loved me. Jesus loved me. I clung onto that unconditional love. This song gave me hope and will always be very dear to my heart. I hope it can give someone out there some hope as well.
