- Professional match of StarCraft 2 played between Dark (Zerg) and MaxPax (Protoss). This game has an incredibly scrappy ending as Dark somehow manages to stay alive and make a round of Infestors. MaxPax however has detection as well as a powerful Sky Toss army.

That recall was a HUGE mistake. MaxPax didnt have a critical mass of Carriers to evaporate the Infestors nor did he have an economy to build more of them. Either he should have recalled when he still had an economy, or fully committed to the base trade knowing that he could always recall after killing all the tech that Dark had.

Just watched a game on winters channel, where Dark destroyed Showtime with this exact build, swarmhosts into lurkers. Its intresting to see the difference in dealing with swarmhost play 🙂
He didn't build 29 workers. he cancelled most of them and made like 7-9
on top of that he ends up losing the 20-22 larva bc of it. major mistake.

This is definitely a game which is worthy game of an year award. A very scrappy game which goes back and forth. In the end it is not clear who is going to win and players have to become creative. The better player wins in the end.

Now even SC2 maps have product placement built into them... e.g. at 02:50 and again at 03:09 (same spot on the map) you can see "Monster Energy" built into the map. lol...

I was yelling at the screen at the end: "Split up!" Simply keep the last four air units in different parts of the map: faster scouting and neural parasite is pointless. Easy win.

That was an insane game, the mind game in the last few seconds was amazing.
I really struggle with Dark trolling 50% of the time I think he could have earned a lot more cash and accolades in his career.
I often see him playing really poorly in LAN games against Hero or other Koreans he knows while destroying much more difficult opponents that he doesn't know.
Judging from the worker count for dark, he started to make 27 drones then cancelled all but 7... That's a heck of a lot of wasted larva
