YOU though, amazing Susan, have so beautifully combined imaginative freedom with historical integrity that I am both enchanted and awestruck.
I hope there’s catalogs of well-lit photos of the original silk dress (and any other clothes) that way they can be recreated in real silk/wool/etc in colors as close as possible to the originals. Thank you for preserving this history, it’s priceless.

I admire her so much for her knowledge of dolls houses. But please stop spreading the myth of 17th and 18th century corsets being laced tightly. In those centuries corset served to boost the best upward not shape the waist. As they did in the 19 th century
