I was born in NYC and grew up near there. The trash fighting is just a local thing. The residents are inured to garbage because it's literally everywhere. Admittedly it's odd and revolting to outsiders but it's just their native custom.

TBF there is an actual difference between breaking laws like this and actual violent criminal behavior which hurts other people. Cumia is not stabbing people, holding up a bodaga, or doing hit and runs. He is a hypocrite when he talks about the blacks doing things like fare hopping, stealing from walgreens, or scammign the government out of welfare/grant money though, and I am sure he has talked about all of those things before.

Redbar is somewhat wrong about the stirring sticks. You can drink fairly quick through them if you really try. The reason most people use em, is to force themselves to not down their booze too quickly.

The shit that guy has somehow casually admitted to is beyond shocking in how incriminating and revolting it is. The only thing I can think of that's worse than what's already come to the surface- largely from his own mouth- is an actual assault on his niece or something.
As I get older I try to be more empathetic, even- or maybe especially- when it comes to situations where it's challenging, and Ant is a really good litmus test. Truly a repellent, genuinely awful dude.

Understandable though. Cumia on O and A was really funny and he was clearly mike’s hero but he’s a deeply flawed person. And when you meet someone you admire and you start to see how shitty they are and they betray you, it’s understandable to hate them forever

Ant has turned into one of the people he claims about.
The Punisher is a great story about vigilante Justice in a world with superheroes that still allow the mafia.
