In case my explanation in the video was terrible....here is how you get max speed QB's, TE's, and LB's. Shoutout to the Retro Bowl Reddit for the information.
Find QB's, TE's, and LB's who are low rated with 3-3.5 star potential, make sure they have a good amount of speed already compared to their other stats.
Pick up as many of them as you can throughout the season....whether it's through the draft or free agency.
Refresh coaching hires until you get a coach with "talent spotter", which increases all of your players on offense/defense potential by half a star.
If you're lucky, the corresponding QB's, TE's, and LB's on your team should also get an increase in their speed bar. If not, then the talent spotter coach will not get their speed up to max. That is why you should pick up as many of them as possible.
Once you finally find the QB/TE/LB that increases his speed, then you just keep grinding and praying for talent spotter coaches.
So pretty much you're not getting any fresh air for about 756 years

How you do it
Extreme mode defenders have stupid speed, but TE are op. This is the reason why I have a low star qb and wr on my extreme mode team, cause you cant get any good deep routes, and you down need much arm strength for short routes (and running is really good overall).
Im just playing extreme and always throwing deep u just have to get used to the fast defenders, then its easy
On extreme it’s easy af to throw deep you just have to know what your doing

I've played Retro Bowl off and on the last two years but later last year, I finally decided to make it my full time football game and I love it! I've won one Super Bowl in dynamic but I restarted some months ago to see if I can win in hard. In my third full season of hard after some seasons of medium I finally made the playoffs but lost in the wildcard. I'm still dedicated to improving! However I've always used left drive direction. In real life I know football goes both ways but I'm still trying to improve at the game and I tried one play on both and threw a horrible pick. Should I stick to left since I'm right handed and will decrease my picks or use both?
How can u win in the hardest difficulty but lose in the easier ones?

@@johnd46 Dang. You need some better players. Once you reach later years the draft starts giving you 5 star potential players quite often. Once I got in later years I finally started playing Extreme. Won the retro bowl!

Does anyone know why I can't carry two tight ends? Well, I can carry two, but only one will be active, while the other would be benched.
There is no animations for both tight ends to have routes at the same time. They’ll both be on the field but only one will get a route to run

I think extreme is kind of stupid in retro bowl… as fast as your WRs are, the DB will always be faster
