If you notice whenever Mama Pao calls on Hana Beshie she always adds something like “with birth certificate” or “with vaccination card”. It’s a reference to various giveaway segments in Philippine variety shows, one of which Mama Pao is a part of (out of drag). Hanabishi (which is what Hana’s drag name is based off) is a brand of home electronics that are often the prizes in these segments that are bundled along with other things. Which is why Mama Pao adds other things after mentioning Hana’s name.

OV's outfit on the runway was inspired by the Balete tree which is infamous in Philippine folklore for being the dwelling place of engkantos or supernatural creatures and nature spirits such as dwendes (dwarves), kapres (tree demons), diwatas (fairies) and tikbalangs (demon horses).

I was pretty worried about this episode bc I thought the last one was so good, but these girls did not disappoint. Bernie is giving mother while OV is giving me all of the shade I need. I just can't wait for when the girls join and Kat Kat and dee dee feud it out.
The episode's editing also flowed much better and is overall tighter. They did not bore or disappoint despite sharing the exact same format and song.

I thought this episode would be boring knowing their verses was worse than the first group but gurllll, I WAS WRONGGG. The shade these girls brought, the feels how Astrid broke down, and how funny these girls are had me on a rollercoaster. Oh Wednesdays couldn't be any sooner

I was sooo disappointed with how they did the group challenge, honestly as a viewer, I felt both 'played' (like if you attend a concert and the money you paid for it didn't really make it worth it) and ashamed that the world saw this, and this is NOT the represtation of Philippine Drag. 😤
On a different, note I am so happy for Bernie because hells she's the only Queen in this group that really is supposed to be in DRPH.
Also, a lil tea: Deedee and Katkat have a looong standing competition in the Philippine Drag scene sooo all of us are excited for their showdown. It definitely did not look good at all that M1ss Jade shared her experience involving KatKat to the other queens when she hasn't talked to KatKat first. But it seemed to me that it's not like she was out to get KatKat, DeeDee was sharing how she got bullied by KatKat and maybe M1ss Jade felt like sharing her own experience since that was the topic. Still, if she felt that way, this could've been prevented had she talked to KatKat first. I can't get mad at KatKat for being upset and defending herself. I don't know. KatKat sure has done questionable things in the past and I'm not making excuses for her but I feel like she's just too real and crass and misunderstood. Versushka, on the other hand, had no business telling KatKat what went on the way she did. She should've waited for Jade to address her concern to KatKat. She made it seem like she did what she did out of concern but after dropping the bomb, she left the girls to themselves. Her shady confessional didn't help either. It was nice of DeeDee to comfort Jade but she has her own issues with KatKat and I hope Jade won't be a pawn in the KatKat and DeeDee beef.
