Not a weight weenie, I just watch for the cool vibes.

For those riding on rough pavements, added strength is welcomed.
I broke 2 aluminium mounts from rough road riding 😅

That being said, I am interested. Is there an affiliate link to this mount, please?

@@ariffausorry no affiliate links. Don't know how easy this is to find outside Japan where Rec-mounts is basically the Japanese "K-edge". But a google search should give you some answers I reckon.

Seems kind of heavy for what it is. Maybe it needs a dose of drillium

What's your choice of a mount for Avian Canary? Ta

This was just a stop gap after the original mount broke. I just needed a replacement mount fast, and rec mounts are the Japanese “k-edge”with over night shipping so I could head out without riding with the computer in my pocket.
The real replacement had a bit longer delivery time but is a bit more exotic, and lighter. Stay tuned ;)

Oh, did the included one snap with just the computer or with something underneath? Was planning to pair my falcon 2 with a HideMyBell raceday fi, since my other mount from them has been rocksolid. But I always run a camera or light ubderneath and am now concerned about all of these two bolt mounts snapping.

@@Timonius93 I would also be interested in RoJ's solution as well as the quality of the included mount (obviously not reliable).
@slayerofgrams When is that video (assuming it's a video) going to be released?

@@Timonius93 the puck snapped, (garmin 1040)
The mount itself is still fine.. but it’s very flexy and on bumpy roads I’m not surprised it eventually broke.
The mount underneath is sturdier than the puck though.

@@moxerl it’ll be on the scale as soon as it arrives. But it’s a weight weenie item so if it will help with durability that’s a totally different question 😅
