Hopefully Ao Ashi gets a boost too. It's the most realistic football animanga I've seen so far and it's so well-researched. People getting into it would definitely learn a lot.

The Japanese are so passionate about football. You can see/feel it in the mangas that they produce centering around football. My fave are Giant Killing and Hungry Heart Wild Striker

That manga makes me loves and plays football , also trying the double back heel trick ( fail of course ).
Kubo , Kamiya, Toshi , Kazuhiro and Kenji's tale are BRILLIANT!

And yes, i believe one day Japan will lift that trophy~
