I mean what city the jelly was invented? The best way I can explain a jelly to you is when it looks like you're going to dunk the ball because your hand is behind the ball and at the last minute you turn your hand 180° and flick your wrists at the same time to give the ball a spin as if you took a jump shot. The best looking jellies usually involved the person spreading their leg to emulate Jordan pretty much like the symbol on his shoes. Jelly’s are definitely the easiest way to get your opponent jumping and blocking and the wrong time. The key of Jelly’s is to get yourself a good angle too shoot when you have the change when the opponent is in the floor and you already jumped and you could shoot.
To anyone saying that most of these aren't jelly layups: a jelly layup is where you either a.) Change hands on a layup or b.) Put some spin or some "English" on it off the glass. Therefore most if not all reverses are jelly because they have to have at least some spin off the glass to keep it from going stupid off the backboard
