My mom showed this to me in high school as I was an outcast, I tossed the song aside as I thought it was cheesy but every now and again as an adult I listen to it and think “why didn’t listen?” Oh the things I would tell my younger self just so she wouldn’t have to go thru so much pain. The reason I try to stop being insecure, even though it’s great to express your feelings, I know when I’m older, My older self will tell myself now ‘why did you ever doubt yourself?’ And I would I answer with..‘I don’t know..’ until I know why I’m insecure, I refuse to be! I'm secretly struggling with an eating disorder, only my close friends know, I have to force myself to eat in front of my parents so I seem 'normal' I constantly weigh myself, people have made fun of me because I'm 'fat' but I lost twenty pounds in a month, by basically just starving. Honestly as a male I'll tell you to a couple things, first being embrace who you are. Being a little curvy will never hurt, don't destroy yourself over a couple of ill opinions.
Second being if you really wish to lose weight, reducing food intake won't help as much as drinking allot of water and reduce drinking sugary drinks such as soda or energy drinks. Water is your friend, I lost many pounds just by drinking more water rather than soda.
If you want to have a cheat day than by God drink or eat whatever you want, you only live once and the beauty of drinking a dunkin or starbucks cold brew or eating a bag of hot fries is the very beauty of it.
Women, as someone who was always trying to impress others, do not destroy yourself to look better. There is much ill in this world, people will judge because it is who we are as people. I promise a true loving friend will love you no matter what.
Stay strong, stay humble, keep them guessing and I hope this helps anybody reading this, have a nice night to whoever is reading this.

I struggle with a lot of issues with my body (gender dysphoria/body dysmorphia), which became some of the reasons why I've been stuggling with an addiction to cutting my self (I started when I was 13 and I'm 33 now), and I've had multiple suicide attempts since I was 12 years old. I found this quote in the comments section of another video that I watched, and I thought that I would post it here because I feel like this quote is something that everyone needs to look at. Please realize that you are perfect just the way you are. If you want to change your appearance, then do it for yourself. Don't change yourself for anyone else. I've had a lot of people try to change my personality, and I lost a lot of people that I thought were my "family" because of it. They chose to be my "brother," "sister," "sibling," ect knowing that I'm a kind person, and they wanted me to change how I view things, and how I was supposedly "acting" when I know that I didnt do anything wrong (even though they made me feel like I did something wrong). I refuse to change myself for someone else but, I would rather be alone for the rest of my life than have people in my life try to change me. I hope that everyone wil be able to live as their authentic selves regardless of what anyone else thinks because everyone is perfect the way that they are. People who can't accept you for who you are can just walk away from you because changing yourself for someone else is never worth the pain
