This is when you call the local park rangers so they can find and help the bear.
Oh dear I hope someone helps the poor thing! Love your channel ❤
That bothers me seeing it like that. I hope it was either helped or at least left alone by the tourists. 😢
I agree! Seeing this makes me so sad at what’s happening to our beautiful native black bears. I so hope Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge institute some supportive changes! (I appreciate the video bringing needed attention to this!)
Too many people moving to that area! We wanted to and considered it for a long time. We decided to stay put and enjoy its beauty via more frequent vacations. If people keep cramming into those mountains they will ruin everything they love about the area.@mrsbooe

It breaks my heart he is hurt I hope someone called someone to help this poor bear , it's like he wanted someone to help him.
I bet he’s the one that got hit by the car on Baskins creek road last week. Gatlinburg police and anakeesta security tried to locate it. But couldn’t find it. He got hit hard. I was shocked he could run away. They are some tough animals.
Oh I heard there was a bear at Annekeesta but my legally blind a** (me) couldn’t see it. That definitely would explain a lot, it could be the very same bear.
I hope someone called to help this injured bear.
I hope the bear will be ok! It must’ve been very stressed walking around Gatlinburg, I mean where does it have to go when the forests are turning into buildings?
And to think, I was only in Gatlinburg a week ago. I just missed this bear sighting. Lol
We saw one in that same area between the Aquarium and that hotel a week ago today (Thursday) around 2 in the afternoon, was also limping and went the same direction 😢
Poor thing. Instead of taking video...I wonder if any of the "phone" people bothered to call it in so maybe someone could help it? Gotta get that video! 😡
Yes, and idiots in the background laughing...I fail to see what was so funny!
Breaks my heart. I pray the rangers can help him 🙏
Probably no one called authorities. To busy cell recording as usual. And one fool following the bear thinking he’s the bear whisperer. Typical of people in the digital world. Btw I was born analog and didn’t and don’t use a cell phone.
I think he was just trying to scare it away from populated areas. They shouldn't be comfortable around people.
Did someone call for help or did everyone just record? 😭
Is there a bear 🐻 rehab up there or state fish & game? Hope it gets help😢
There is a bear rescue, I hope they helped the poor bear.
I believe Ober Gatlinburg has an injured bear place. However, I wonder if Ober will need to build another pen for it or not.
so sad
So sad!!🙏
That’s so sad - Hope the Bear gets the help he needs
Wow what a beautiful bear! He’s getting around pretty well. Hope he’s doing better, as bears heal really well most of the time.
Looks like a broken bone in front leg hopefully an animal rehab center could locate him, black bears are smart s/he is asking for help.
👍
Did somebody help that bear?
They just yelled and blew horn!
That's their mentality!
Poor thing, I hope it got taken care of!
👍
0:07 omg same when I was on my trip in Tennessee I saw 3 of them!
Edit: not sure if you saw my comment on the video of suite tour
Great video. Kudos for giving the bear all the space you did. He was injured, and appeared frightened...2 very dangerous things with any form of wildlife. Best thing in a case like this, reach out to local park rangers; they have the training to handle these situations. True regardless if at The Smokies or Yellowstone and Grand Canyon, where they warn "don't pet the fluffy cows!"
He probably got hit by a car.
@ 2:30...watch the guy that's coming out of the door!
Call wildlife!
We saw it last week on River Road.
Poor bear :(
I'm visiting Gatlinburg in two weeks and I am a runner. Will a bear chase me if I am running? 🏃♂
The poor bear probably was hit by a coaster on one of the Mountain Coaster tracks taking over what Bears call home in the hills surrounding the area.
Oh my goodness! So sad! That looks just like the bear that walked on the lower sidewalk at the Edgewater when I was staying there 2 weeks ago! 😢
Poor bear.
Poor Guy 🙏just came back from Gatlinburg, pigeon Forge and Dollywood spent a week there. It was great did see a lot of black bears walking around.
She lives by the creek by zodars, she was hit by the roller coaster and has a broken back leg.
Just look at it. Lol. Poor Bear 🐻.
Poor bear! So sad!
Looks like his hip is hurt may of been hit by a car or fell from a tree.
Thanks for sharing the full video. So sad to see, tho. I tried to find info about this online, but didn't see anything. Just found other recent incidents. Hopefully he gets back to the wild and can recover.
I think he’s disoriented. He needs some food and water. I imagine he will go back to the woods.
