Rejected Update Idea: Paper Mushroom Power Up. When you touch it you become Paper Mario and every enemy you touch leads to an RPG battle. Paper Mario’s attacks are the same like they always do in battle. Oh and let’s not forget that when he needs help, he has his partners too which are Kertsi, Tippi, Olivia, Huey, Bobby, Bowser Jr, Bowser, Kamek and Professor Toad. Also the enemies are replaced by folded soldiers, Bowser and Meowser are replaced by King Olly, Bowser Jr is replaced by Dimentio, Boom Boom and Pom Pom are replaced by Mimi and O Chunks and the Koopalings are replaced by Scissors, Tape, Stapler, Colored Pencils, Rubber Band, Hole Punch and Handaconda.
Rejected update: you've seen mushrooms that make mario bigger and ones that make mario smaller and even one's that make mario taller but we never had a mushroom that makes him wider so introducing the wide mushroom
