    Rael Paster, M0RTP
A Transmitting Magnetic Loop Antenna (TMLA) offers the amateur radio enthusiast a compelling option for getting on the air and having access to all the HF bands when restricted by size and height of the antenna system at your QTH. The talk covers DIY construction tips, tricks and traps for QRO operation and will provide an overview on how to remotely tune a magnetic loop. The talk includes an overview of Rael’s experience with FT8 and WSPR DX performance using the various loops constructed along with some recommendations.

This is first time that I got a lot of full explanation of maximum improvements for a magnetic loop antenna. Thank a lot, and, please, continue to do search and sharing with HAMers.

Note for your viewers: At 21:18 you advised the use of a non-insulating shaft when you clearly meant an 'insulating one'.

"non insulating shaft "..lol say good bye to the stepper 😁

QRO is not needed for DX whisper if the antenna is big enough, but I think that QRO is a must for SSB if antennas are small specially when on lower frequencies.
A transmitting mag loop is ideal for DX on 80 and 40 meters, if there is no room for an efficient quarter wavelength vertical nor a dipole cannot be placed high enough. That's why a mag loop able to handle full legal power looks to me very attractive. Thank you very much for this instructive video.
In order to be able to apply full power on 40 and 80m...
How about placing two vacuum capacitors in series to get more voltage headroom, and/or, two in parallel to get twice current headroom, up to four stepper motors, into a two turn loop with 20 meters of 7/8 inch or even 1-5/8 inch Heliax in a relatively small 5m by 5m square or diamond? Has anybody tried?

N4SPP's site should be checked in priority. In addition the ARRL Q formula (found at 24:46) is flawed: there is no "2" at the denominator. Multiturn loops on lower bands bring no improvement over single turn, so you must increase diameter, no free lunch.
