Good question. You're right on one point, but I have my own reasons why I took this action. I was worried that if I happened to hit any triggers that bounce my Tony Tony Chopper back to the bottom deck. I know some people running event cards in Reiju in my knowledge.
@@RyanKai4life hmm... what about playing the chopper first to get some rested dons (the one you played at 2:11)? (I'm pretty new to OPCG or I should say TCG in general, so I would love to understand the rationale behind players' decisions. I see sometimes players choose to attack with the leader right off the bat, but sometimes they don't until after playing other characters. I'm still trying to understand the differences.)
Hows the reiju doing on your current meta? Arent you bothered that RP Laws are swarming and owning the meta? Reiju is most likely unwinnable against it.
Yes, you're right. Particularly weak if fight against RP law. That's why I keep telling my friends who I'm fighting in the video to use other decks in any major tournaments. Reiju is not the best choice if playing in long run tournaments, especially 7-9 rounds of Swiss. I like this deck too, but there are too many RP Law running around haha
@@RyanKai4life i think it somehow does stand a chance because most of the pieces of rp law right now are ramp cards. But still, the prob is not only the don difference, but the bottomdecking itself. Reiju cannot maximize the use of her trash because of it.
1:44 & 1:52, curious why don't wait till there are rested dons and then attach rested ones using chopper's leader effect?
