I attended Harvard U in the late 80's and I've got to say that I'm utterly horrified by the state of Higher Education in America today. Much of the insanity that we see coming from academia now was fringe when I was in school. It's disconcerting to internalize the reality that the degrees I worked so hard for in my academic career are now effectively considered a red flag to the general public. To make no mention of the small fortune that my education cost me and the years it took to pay it off. I'm so glad that I work for myself and don't have to worry about how prospective employers would treat me as a consequence of the horrendous reputation of especially the Ivy Leagues these days. When I was in school the faculty was comprised of intelligent successful people whom I admired very much. And the students were of a higher caliber in my honest opinion although admittedly I'm biased. Suffice it to say that they weren't a bunch of rabid unhinged hateful ideologues. What we're witnessing now is a dark and pathetic state of affairs. In America and the western world more broadly. I can only hope that we can turn things around somehow. I hope it's not too late. 👺

The economy is great for rich people. It’s bad for poor people. I wish the Government and Fed explain to people that we need to tolerate high rates FOR A LONG TIME for OUR FUTURE GOOD. Instead, we have this constant hype of when the rates will be cut.

The fact of the matter is that age is NOT the most important factor when determining how competant a President or candidate is in running the Executive Branch. That is only part of the equation. The MOST IMPORTANT FACT is his or her mental capacity and physical stamina regardless of age. In fact Kamala Harris is an excellent example of a much younger yet much more incompetent politician and office holder is at this point in time. That's why there NEEDS to be competency tests and term limits in order to INSURE that whomever is running for office is fit for the job.
The price of a hamburger will never drop from ten bucks, nor the price of a cocktail from seventeen bucks. All while everyone in service turns an iPad towards you asking for higher tips. ENJOY

I don't think unemployment rates reflect the reality but the thing is so many people are forced to work in multiple jobs that pays pennies. This doesn't mean economy is strong. Wages are now increasing more than inflation. 40 years of no wage increase.....Powell raised interest rates 11 times, as apposed to saying that he raised it back to the 50 year average of 5.5
Anyone who has been Car or Home hunting has come face to face with outrageous Inflation . But the purchasing of Food is not an option . And the cost to eat is getting dangerously high for far to many people . Thanks Joey !
