This is astonishing. I saw them in England about ten years ago and Stephen hardly sung at all, apart from a rumbling, growling "For what it's worth". They didn't attempt this one. I had no idea he could still sing like this. Wonderful. And, of course, still one of the great rock guitarists of all time.
I know I seem to watch this on a weekly basis but It is so apparent to me that they are just as pleased with this performance as we all are! What a simple pleasure to watch!! Thanks for the upload!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is some kind of magic that brings certain people together for a time, and even when they part and grow on their own, they can come back, and the magic is still there. 43 years after Woodstock, and the pipes are still working in harmony as if time had brought us back to those incredible musical days. Just makes me feel so good hearing this, and knowing they can still nail a very difficult vocal harmony. Every time I hear Stephen Stills guitar, I'm thankful for that beautiful jangle his alternate tunings gave us, and have often wondered who he had sat with while experimenting with these....Joni Mitchell? Although not traditionally trained, she always had an ear and open mind on tunings, believing that there should be no boundaries on musical art, and she was right. Thanks for posting this!! Great watching this and along with the Dick Cavett Show with Jefferson Airplane filmed the day after Woodstock ended I believe, really a nice memory of youth, and just so happy to hear they still have all that ability!!
We went to see them at this little theater on the campus of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo - it was the start of the tour -- we had no idea until we got there that 'our' concert would be filmed for this DVD. What a delight to have a quality DVD concert of the exact one we went to...this concert took me right back to the Big Sur festival in 1969 where I first saw them...and it was magical both then and on this night too!
They might look a little different, but hell, they still sound incredible!! They all always had great pipes, wow!! One acoustic guitar, and three voices.....Mr. Stills looks like just maybe had "some work" done along with the dye job, cool to see David Crosby with the longer hair and moustache, and Graham Nash has aged well.
Stills has not sounded this great in years!!!!!!!! I wonder if he got the vocal chords operation that Adelle and Roger Daltry had. Seen him so many times and seen him do the suite but he has not been able to hit that high part in decades.
One of the coolest songs ever written. Love it
There is hope for all of us if this group is still singing after 45 tears.
Absolutely knockout, those harmonies are still crystal clear!

Los mejores momentos de mi vida los uno a éste grupo memorable, que tanto me han hecho disfrutar.

Their 2012 concert was the best concert I have attended till date. Go Stills!
Makes me want to cry. Absolutely beautiful. I wish they could be cloned.

That was amazingly good considering how old they are. Stephen hasn't sounded this good in years.

Hope they have a least one more swing through Red Rocks, Denver Colorado.
