Mian Channu is situated in the southeastern part of the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is part of the Khanewal District, which is known for its agricultural and industrial activities.
The history of Mian Channu dates back to the Mughal era when it was a small village. Over time, it has grown and developed into a significant town in the region. Its name is believed to be derived from the name of a local Sufi saint, Mian Channu, who may have lived in the area.

بہت اچھے ،90 سال ہو گئے ریلوے سٹیشن بنے مگر ایک انڈر پاس نہیں بن سکا یہ اس شہر کی ترقی کا راز ہے ،بودلہ صاحب 35 سال ایم این اے رہے مگر انہوں نے انڈر پاس بنانے کی کوشش نہ کی ،قومی اسمبلی میں 35 سال میں ایک ہی بات کی انہوں نے کہ اے سی بند کروادیں سپیکر صاحب سردی لگ رہی ہے،واہ میں صدقے یہ اس شہر کی ترقی ہے جو شہر رات 8 بجے بند ہو جاتا ہے،90 سال ہو گئے اس شہر کے وجود کو ایک اچھا ہسپتال نہ بن سکا یہ ترقی ہے
