the coolest training Bruce ever did was when he was thrown in a pit and had another fighter thrown in with him every hour trying to kill him. he refused to kill, and after 24 hours, he had 24 opponents, but he had beaten them all down so brutally that they were too afraid to keep fighting him.

Fun fact: The different ending lines you can get from O-Senei (Kirigi) are a reference to his appearance in a relatively obscure Batman comic titled “The Man Who Falls” by legendary writer Dennis O’Neil. This comic pieces together all of the various bits and pieces known up to that point about Batman’s origin and “lost years” (aka his training). In the section where Bruce trains in the mountains, it says that when he first entered, no one came out to speak with him - so he waited patiently for three weeks on the floor, and then O-Sensei finally told him he may sweep the floor. The first month of his training, he swept. Month 2, he washed dishes. For 2 more, he swept, washed, and boiled rice. And then on month 5, he was given instruction This story is from Secret Origins of the World’s Greatest Superheroes, and it was an inspiration for the Batman Begins movie Top notch reference, in my opinion. I really hope that Shiva was included here as a prelude for having her daughter (Cassandra Cain/Batgirl) appear in Arkham Knight. Cass is by far my favorite member of the Batfamily. When Batman is feeling guilt from not saving the Joker, who better to relate with than Cass whose sole reason for becoming Batgirl was to atone for killing a man in her previous life as an assassin. I suppose that depending on the player's performance, Master Kirigi's dialogue in the final cutscene will highly praise Bruce, or simply acknowledge that he passed the tests (implying just barely) for less skilled and lucky gamers. Hopefully, this version of Bruce isn't a lethal chef as he's sometimes portrayed, if he's to prepare tea for all of them...
This has to be one of the coolest mini DLC’s. It’s rare to play as Bruce training to become Batman. The only other time I can recall doing it, is in the Batman Begins game.
After more than 4 years I finally decided to complete Arkham City so I would have the motivation to do the same with Origins. Surprisingly good content. I like it a lot. Also: Why would the teacher give his students shotguns?!
Has anyone noticed that the master's last sentence is 'we have much to discuss',this kinda reminds me in arkham city Hugo Strange says 'Wake up Mr.Wayne, we have much to discuss.'
Wow well props to the gamer, you've got mad free flow combat skills. It's impressive how you nail the medals faster than the required limit. I really enjoy these videos, keep up the good work and coverage.
You play beautifully. You vary your moves and have some theatrical sense in your stealth. I became a fan of your playing. But I can see this is not without repeating and memorizing the room and behaviour of the npcs
This might be the only guy who I will watch for walkthroughs and some other things for the batman arkham series games. But he's one of the best batman arkham series players I saw.
You'd think after the beatdown you gave to what looks like HUNDREDS of ninjas in combat and taking barely five minutes to wipe out a room of them unseen, they'd be making YOU tea. If the level of skill he displayed gets him tea, how good does Bruce have to be in order to get to the top? Does Master Kirigi just walk into a room and kill his enemies with a glare?
IIStaffyII Yet Arkham Knight's so called "story" missions for Red Hood are basically the same (actually the same really) yet I don't hear people complaining about those. There is so much undeserved hate for this game.
The minor bug or two were patched in the first month. I disregard the other 3 games in the series personally, it works great as a standalone game. I highly recommend it, the problems is that people don't even give it a chance.
IIStaffyII Now there's your problem. You are comparing yourself to a god. To fix this problem, stop doing that, and get back on the game and practice to become great at it.
I absolutely love the initiation dlc from batman arkham origins it's the first time we get to play as bruce wayne going through his full journey of many many (several) years aboard to become the dark knight of Gotham that we all know today and seeing Young Bruce Wayne go through multiple stages of Martial Arts training and tests to see if he's worthy of the challenge & also facing his toughest challenge yet given by his master and earning his master's honor and respect and bruce eventually did earn his Master Kirigi's respect when Wayne defeated shiva and became the master's best student!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way awesome gameplay walkthrough buddy you're quite the expert. I'm an expert at this game as well been playing the arkham game series for 12 years since the first game was released back in August 25, 2009:)
***** Well this DLC gives you challenge maps and skins to play them with, along with some more, smaller features. In Arkham games, campaigns for challenge maps are 2 or 3 challenge maps glued together in one, mission, you could say, that share a common theme, like Black Mask or Wayne Manor, both from Arkham City. Therefore, they assume you understand what a "campaign" really is. It would be nice if it really was a mini campaign with a small story even.
The whole game was disappointing. I love Batman, and fan boy over him with clothes, comics, and even blogs. But even I say pass this game completely. Best to wait for Batman Arkham Knight. This game wasn't even worth the $10 I spent on Steam. Waste.
Despite the many criticisms made about the game, I find it interesting that people associate being really good at this game with what it would be like to be Batman in real life. This idea should mean that they (Rocksteady's combat system) accomplished quite a feat.. they made people suspend disbelief as they magically do things like fly across the room lunging at people and chaining single knockdown punches while leaping from foe to foe. I guess hand/eye coordination and positioning strategies work as a translation.
I like how at 14:18 Bruce Wayne kicks so hard that it takes the female ninja 4 whole seconds of air time to finally hit the ground on the other side of the arena.
Bahahaha, Good to know that I got the apparent bad ending. I guess if you don't get all the medals, the ending is different. Fun DLC! I'll have to try harder next playthrough.
I got all medals except 1 on the first combat map, so I got one where Kirigi says that I did well but I still need to train more. Then he makes Bruce scrub the floors.
What you got a different ending that's kind of stupid it's a batman game and of course he would impress the teacher he was that good. WB can do some stupid stuff
He deafeats an army of people by himself just to prove he's worth learning from those same people and then ON THE TOP OF THAT he's got to make them tea. They're messing with him...
Oh hey, lady mooks not using swords. How about that? Oh...And then they just gave most of them swords anyhow. That's a shame. 14:17 CHRIST ALMIGHTY, BRUCE!
The silliness that is Shiva fighting you with multiple mooks backing her up just shows how little the devs understand the character. If any mooks are allowed to participate in any battle involving Shiva, they are likely to be on YOUR side, as a handicap she's given you.
Well here she needs them because the ninjas literally are the only thing making her boss fight hard since they attack you while you are focused on counter her counters
@@Collofkidseditz Oh, I understand that - but it just shows how bad the boss fight design is. She should have been more like how Deathstroke is - solo 1v1 with complex mechanics.

Hopefully, this version of Bruce isn't a lethal chef as he's sometimes portrayed, if he's to prepare tea for all of them...
one of the best playthrough i've ever seen. Flawless. Amazing dude. THIS right here is skill. Not KD's and nonsense...
This has to be one of the coolest mini DLC’s. It’s rare to play as Bruce training to become Batman. The only other time I can recall doing it, is in the Batman Begins game.
@@PatchFaceDisaster Have you played the game? How old were you when you played it?
14:55 Junk punched so hard he got vaporized!
But did you see the flying ninja before that?
After more than 4 years I finally decided to complete Arkham City so I would have the motivation to do the same with Origins. Surprisingly good content. I like it a lot.
Also: Why would the teacher give his students shotguns?!
Holy fuck, this DLC has made me think of Arkham Origins in a different way! I want this DLC so fucking much!
Has anyone noticed that the master's last sentence is 'we have much to discuss',this kinda reminds me in arkham city Hugo Strange says 'Wake up Mr.Wayne, we have much to discuss.'
Who's playing this? Even Bruce Wayne himself can't play like flawless!
McNab1986 too Right. Superman, Batman proper fight, Batman is dead in less than a second, broken back with just a Superman twitch!
Robin?
who ever is playing i want him (or her if that player is a girl), to teach me.
It's probably a virgin with way too much time on his hands.
Hermaeus Mora
i smell envy :p
Fun fact:
Before he took the name of "Batman" he was known as the "Nutcracker" 2:14
Good one 🤣
Bros probably never going to have kids again 2:13
2:14
Wow well props to the gamer, you've got mad free flow combat skills. It's impressive how you nail the medals faster than the required limit. I really enjoy these videos, keep up the good work and coverage.
“What the hell are you!?”
“IM BATMAN!!”
congrats bruce for defeating all the ninjas your reward is the brack friday bunduru
Lmao
That was one hell of an expert run
You play beautifully. You vary your moves and have some theatrical sense in your stealth.
I became a fan of your playing. But I can see this is not without repeating and memorizing the room and behaviour of the npcs
25:21 'Sure, Master, would they like it in an IV bag?'
This Master should be proud of himself.. He trained me to be The Batman...
This might be the only guy who I will watch for walkthroughs and some other things for the batman arkham series games. But he's one of the best batman arkham series players I saw.
most i ever made in a combo was in the 40's, you are exceptionally good at this game.
17:49 that crack when he does the ground finisher just makes me wince
Like dang Bruce still mad
You'd think after the beatdown you gave to what looks like HUNDREDS of ninjas in combat and taking barely five minutes to wipe out a room of them unseen, they'd be making YOU tea.
If the level of skill he displayed gets him tea, how good does Bruce have to be in order to get to the top? Does Master Kirigi just walk into a room and kill his enemies with a glare?
Holy shit....This guy predicted Jiren the Grey
@@Don.Doken04 Then Batman has Ultra Instinct
You're so good t this game. It amazes me how you seamlessly execute every challenge with no damage
I'm weirdly happy that the ninjas are actually speaking korean
Yeah, it is cool... but it leaves me wondering what are they saying...
It was located in north korea
This is really impressive, I can't do half of this and I can clearly say that this is too difficult
Man, I love watching Batman Arkham Videos play. The Bruce Wayne skin looks like Ben Affleck with a beard.
Coincidence? I think not!
Yep, definitely no coincidence.
Seriously dude how the hell you're so good at this? You're rad!
Hello what's up!? I enjoyed the video! Keep up the good work.
i spent hours failing this and after picking up a few of your techniques im knocking it out of the ball park!
14:18 Where'd that sword wielding ninja go? Did you sparta kick her to space?
14:22 (Sees body fall down) Nvm
Batman Arkham Videos I have learned how to fight without getting hit because of you. Thank you MASTER.
The combat sound design is freaking cool.
seeing you fighting flawlessly is just awesome, made my day...
All those efforts to he be servant? It better be to have something in that tea or Bruce will kick his ass.
i keep seeing you
exactly "hey you impressed me but still you're my bitch now go make us tea."
Came here to see if this DLC was worth buying. Now I feel like I should never play Batman ever again. Wow isn't this guy flawless!
IIStaffyII Yet Arkham Knight's so called "story" missions for Red Hood are basically the same (actually the same really) yet I don't hear people complaining about those. There is so much undeserved hate for this game.
You misunderstood me. I am not saying the game is bad. Just that he in the video is so good that I now feel like trash and don't want to play anymore.
Anibal Morales should i buy this one? i know it has some bugs and ohter problems but i want to play it really bad :D
Do a video with all endings of this DLC!
that's disappointing. I though it was going to be a like a mini campaign. It's just a string of challenge maps. :( I think I'll skip this one.
I know what you mean.... how the fuck is this a full campaign?
***** Well this DLC gives you challenge maps and skins to play them with, along with some more, smaller features. In Arkham games, campaigns for challenge maps are 2 or 3 challenge maps glued together in one, mission, you could say, that share a common theme, like Black Mask or Wayne Manor, both from Arkham City. Therefore, they assume you understand what a "campaign" really is. It would be nice if it really was a mini campaign with a small story even.
Pantho Sayed But that's not what a campaign is... At all.
The whole game was disappointing. I love Batman, and fan boy over him with clothes, comics, and even blogs. But even I say pass this game completely. Best to wait for Batman Arkham Knight. This game wasn't even worth the $10 I spent on Steam. Waste.
***** I know it was a scam! False advertisement! They should refund me and take the stupid DLC back!
This guy is really great. I'm impressed and I am rarely impressed.
I see what you did there.
This is the origin episode of how BatmanArkhamVideos became awesome at Arkham games.
Lmao. Concentration. Really? Why didn't Bruce use that to find Alfred when his Detective Mode wouldn't work ;v
It would have been way more challenging without the concentration
It's also funny how it gets disabled by detective mode jammers lmao
bruce's concentration is as much as powerful as his detective mode
This guy is good. Too good. I've gotten all of the trophies, but nowhere near as flawless at this.
I guess hand/eye coordination and positioning strategies work as a translation.
man, when i was like 7 or 9, i would have loved this, big into ninjas back then
I like how at 14:18 Bruce Wayne kicks so hard that it takes the female ninja 4 whole seconds of air time to finally hit the ground on the other side of the arena.
Best walkthrough ever. I even learned some tactics. Thx.
Bahahaha, Good to know that I got the apparent bad ending. I guess if you don't get all the medals, the ending is different. Fun DLC! I'll have to try harder next playthrough.
Wtf, are you seriouse. Thats awesome.
Me after seeing BAV's perfection in combat: Is it possible to learn this power?
Not by a human being
i wonder if arkham videos ever gets hit and thinks, aww shit i gotta do that all over again??
when he first put the asylum disc in in 2009.
Nicolas Walli I wonder if he reads the comics
i just love how bruce just backhands the ninjas like gtf outa here
I hope they bring out a Deathstroke DLC where you get to fight Batman, I know it might not be as good, but it could be cool.
I’ve always been fascinated about Bruce’s Post Wayne Gundown & Pre Batman days, so this DLC was a nice touch by WB.
Not surprised how he is one of DC Best martial artists.
Shiva is normally more better than Bruce.
@@roylahav3283 Deathstroke has less complexity than her, his fight is just punch, then counter when it goes to slow mo then punch, you can also use the batclaw to land in free blows. Shiva atleast is immune to the takedown, electric gloves if not stunned and has no hit icons.
Atleast shes not in Arkham Knight because Batman would have had an easier time beating her than a group of crooks
@Collofkidseditz I suppose. But I still Think a mook boss fight is out of character for her.
