Why You Shouldn't Buy Grenadine 🍒

- Grenadine is a popular syrup bartenders use to help sweeten their drinks. Is it the best option though? I "found" some pomegranates and decided to make my own version of grenadine and it tasted delicious. It also was without all the additives that you will find in the average grenadine that are quite questionable for your health.

Honestly Vlad, there's something more classy for me about only watching your content on RUclips.
For me insta reels is cheap production. And as soon as I get board I go to RUclips to watch some educational and beautiful and funny content.
Facebook and tiktok are something I'm only on by accident, and I'm left wondering why did I do this.
But I understand you wanting to have the reach.

I had to look twice as I thought the caption was "Why you shouldn't buy Grenade"
"Store bought grenade smell like the melting plastic and is full of cheap chinese gunpowder. The homemade makes much bigger boom with satisfying firework effect"
thank you for syrup and non-alcohol cocktail recipes💓🕊
I always thought grenadine was just that sugary cherry juice that maraschino cherries come in so I always added that to my Shirley Temples, turns out i was just making my own cherry limeade this whole time
Just like we were purchasing fresh organic apples back in childhood times)
The “enjoi” at the end of his vids always make me smile lol love the content 👍
I am glad to see that other people use pomegranate because it is my favorite food

YES I LOVE THAT MOVIE LOL it scared me so much when I was younger 😭
I know I've seen these transitions 8,000 times at this point. But your transitions from showing the 'original fruit' to the "diced" of it is always so fucking smooth. I love it. I guess there's a reason you are called the 'slick' bartender.
I buy 100% pomegranate juice to make the syrup. It's about 90% as good as what you made but without the mess and the risk of arrest.
Good idea! I was just thinking "well, this would be nice. . . IF I HAD A DAMN JUICER!😂"
Smart. Super smart.
This looks amazing! Grenadine syrup is really good and it was fun to watch this stuff being made at home. Pomegranates are my favorite fruit and it’s cool yo see them being used for something special.
Your soothing voice can rock me to sleep anytime
can’t get over how much i love your vids
Hah I have one of those things in my backyard. Absolutely doing this!
Yep... Ima make this at home today!!! I have had 3 pomegrades in the fridge for almost a month, this looks like the safe choice for them.
Gotta say, thank you, I was looking for something non-alcoholic to make for myself, and alcoholic for others. Much appreciated

As a kid I used to get Shirley Temples from every restaurant ever lol
I have deseeded and juiced pomegranates before. Your smooth editing does not fool me.
Okay. The multiple cups of last year's arils in the freezer now have a good recipe in their future. Could you please publish a guide to all those great Russian cola/ tarragon & fruit juices?
The way I make it is put 1 cup pom juice and 1 cup sugar in a shaker, a few small mandarin peels, and a barspoon of everclear. Shake till all sugar is dissolved, (about 5 minutes) and strain into a bottle. It comes out great. This lasts about 6 months in the fridge, but it's CRUCIAL that you add the everclear, because it keeps it alive longer.
" Ya add a lil bit of grenadine home boy... And there ya havv it!!!"
I’m waiting patiently for this collab
I just went through the same thought process looking at the ingredients on Rose's, figured "how hard can it be to make", and was pleasantly surprised to learn how easy it is to make at home. Thanks for covering this! 🥂
I'm so glad our pomegranate tree finally grew and sprouted fruitful pomegranatey pomegranates.
I’m gonna make this to impress my friends can you also make a short about all the ways you can use this?
Its an ingredient for many drinks but u Always use a Little like 5 ml, u use It very Little amount thats why everyone buy It instead of making It.

Cool thanks for sharing. Need to make this one.
I'm From Albania and we had pomegranate that grew in the wild by itself in some parts of Albania.
They were a little smaller than the normal pomegranate but with a sour aftertaste which I prefer.
At the end of there season my grandma always took lots of these fruits made syrup for us to drink during the year.
This metod consisted in separating the seeds than putting then in a small jar with approximately 30 or 40 grams of sugar (4 5 spoons) after this u have to close the jar and leave it in a dark place to ferment for about 3 weeks 4 if needed. After the fermentation we used to strain the liquid that was formed in a glass bottle. The substance was a little thik and too sweet which is ok because u had to disolve it in water once u do that the taste is amazing. It works with regular pomegranate to but the taste is a little sweeter maybe in that case u should ad less sugar. If u Have time try it u will love it
Nature has sponsored you with their fresh pomegranates! What a chad I mean vlad 😏
Just tried the recipe and it smelled amazing in the pan, cant wait to taste it!
Personally I believe pomegranates are the most high-maintenence, high reward fruits. They're so delicious but such a pain to take apart.
looks amazing brother! I will definitely "purchase" some organic pomegranates to make my own!
Im severely allergic to red40 which is found in many Grenadines. This is very appreciated
Seriously hilarious vlad.
You should try recreating a cocktail just by taste and look

vlad you inspired me to be a bartender thank you for making me a bartendet
Non-alcoholic drink recommendation: 1 part grenadine, 2 parts apple cider, 3 parts lemonade. Poured over ice in that order. I call it a sunset.
My favorite recipe calls for oleo saccharum, pomegranate molasses and a small amount of orange blossom water. I've only ever bothered to make it once because I just don't drink enough cocktails for it to be worthwhile, but the flavor is quite complex and intriguing.
I like how for mysterious chemicals you listed normal ass food dye. Anyways the homemade grenadine looks great!
In sweden we call them granade apple
As someone who can't actually consume any artificials due to my migraines, this is really helpful ❤
I like the store bought kind for my lemonade. Its my way of making a pink lemonade and that sweetness is great against the sour lemons
For those who don't know, "grenadine" is French for "grenade", which is how they describe the fruit due to it's explosive insides.
The sequel to a certain video, Pomegranate-stealing bartenders
LOVE THIS!!!!
lmaoo the mask while stealing fruit😂💯
I see Zorro purchasing fresh pomegranate 💀
How long does it last? And how should you store it? Thank you.
I can feel that one Heath guy getting ready to break into your house, pick up that bottle of grenadine and yell “red 40”. Some of you know who I am talking about
Yeah right lmao. If you do this at work whenever you need more grenadine, I'll blow myself
Add a touch of citric acid if you are using a juice such as pomwonerful to get some of that tartness back in it
Cool one! Can you make something with Rooh Afza?
Or you can use POM juice. Nobody is going to juice pomegranate seeds
Well, I am going to make this now when my pomegranate tree has some fruit. Thanks for the recipe. I just juice it or make jelly if I have a lot of pomegranates.
I love how he had the link to buy pomegranates in the description lol ❤
pomegranate for life
I think the word "purchased" as evolved with a new definition.
Then again given the inflation nowadays I should purchase stuff like Vlad Slick toooo... 😜
I JUST looked up how to make this stuff 🤣
Help yourself… That was my pomegranate tree!!! .. looked just like it anyway 😂😂
I love this
"purchased"
I can just hear that teacher screaming about pomogranite seeds
The fuckin bandit mask 🤣🤣🤣
Those jars you use are neat 👀
Do a Chilean Terremoto with it, it's a fairly popular drink that uses white wine, pineapple ice cream and granadine
Unfortunately juicing the seeds with a juicer can cause some bitter flavors from the inedible seeds to get into the juice. I think it could depend on the juicer, but if you have to deal with that then you need to press them in a bag or something and no one wants to do that. Thankfully you can buy bottled pom juice
When I made mine I added a little lemon juice into it, and It just activated all the sweetness of the pomegranate
My man is dressed up like the fusion of Zoro and The Hamburgular
Thank you for making this video! I actually wasn't ever really sure what grenadine really was, like what fruit it came from.
"Nothing suspicious here. Just casually purchasing fresh organic pomegranate."
Grenadine in our country is very popular, when in season, i just eat the seeds with a big spoon
In America, if the branch hangs across the property line, the branch and any fruit on it are yours. No theft involved.
Can we just buy pomegranate juice, add a little sugar and reduce it a bit? Is that essentially the same thing?
Store bought grenadine is fine. Making it from fresh pomegranate is more work, for results that don’t really matter for drinks like Shirley Temples. I’m sure fresh pomegranate is better for some cocktails, but most people don’t order drinks with grenadine. Would they even notice / appreciate the extra work? Even if it’s quick to make- with how much diversity there is in Grenadine, making it yourself will not mean that the flavor is more unique. Like you said, it might be good to make to eliminate the Red 40 and Corn Syrups.
Grenadine. For my ice cream treats.
What a strange movie.
That's actually quite easy. Thx, my man.
You should try grenadine with orange juice, pinaple juice and lemonade
If you add a little orange juice to a Shirley temple it tastes rlly good
Michael Scott loves this.
great advice, sadly I will not be buying pomegrante soon because it's damn expensive
You purchased.... I thought you're stealing🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Make all syrups 2:1 sugar to water, 2:1 syrups will last forever at room temperature, 1:1 syrup like the stuff you made there won't last more then afew weeks and has to be refrigerated.
Bro I *wish* it was that easy to separate pomegranate seeds. The last time I harvested two pomegranates for their seeds it was roughly an hour per fruit of separating and cleaning seeds
*sniffs pomegranate juice aggressively*
You should try making a terremoto 👀 it uses grenadine!
I love "purchasing" fresh fruit too
Shirley temple is my absolute favorite vacation drink
My favorite drink uses a bit of grenadine and blue curaçao to turn it purple, main complaint was that it's too sweet. This may be the solution I've been looking for
