Newbie here, I've been using this build for two weeks now, opted for Shadow Fiend over Spite since I mostly do strikes. For some reason, my best DPS is 29k, tested against the kitty golem with food/ultility and boons given by the console. And that's the number of me performing the rotation perfectly. Would you have any idea where I'm missing that 7k dps?
Update: Found the problem. I didn't have the golem setup correctly. To other newbies, check Snow Crows for 'Golem Setup'.

If you have protocols on you can use the tonic to repeatedly enter and exit combat to stack boons before the fight.
Why do you use Desert Shroud before Blood is Power in the rotation? Does it matter which i use first? Thanks!
If you are in a group sometimes the condi's will get cleansed if you do BiP first so if you do shroud then BiP it won't happen. Playing solo it doesn't really matter.

As a support scourge in WvW trying for the first time PVE, for the past week I kept playing a few builds and this was one of them. Amazing build and super fun imo. Right now Im just fooling around with full celestial, axe focus and staff for map completion. Its amazing how things just vanish in one second. In WvW its such a trolling way to laugh around 😂. Ty for the great content.
to transfer condition to target, use blood is power first and then nefarious favor? or nefarious favor and then blood is power?
Nefarious Favour does not transfer a condition, it cleanses them. For the transfer, you need to use Desert shroud.
The cooldown of shroud is a bit shorter than blood is power, so you need to delay it a little to not have them diverge.

@MrBodaluz ideally you'd cast shroud while blood is power is casting.
Shroud applies the effect from plague sending to you, making the next hit transfer the conditions. Blood is power then delivers that hit, immediately cleansing them off.
@@MaselMMO oh no. The casting time of blood is power is very fast so I need to be faster. That's why my dps is lower compared to others. Thanks so much for this guide and your help sir.
can I use the scepter instead of the gun and do the same rotation with the same build?
yes you can he simplified the rotation a bit for beginners the full build uses both in the rotation both are basically the same
How are you using a pistol? Pistol is the unlock from Harbinger... Scourge gives torch... I'm so confused
With the Secrets of the Obscure expansion, you can use any weapon on any build as long as the profession (e.g. Necromancer) can use it. All you need to do is some story to unlock the weapon master proficiency
At 3:45 how did you Not get a dmg reduction debuff from dagda? You got hit by 2 projectiles but got No debuff on you.
The damage debuff is a challenge mode mechanic called debilitated. In normal mode you can yolo through them just fine, theyll reduce incoming healing only

Yes, you can use it only for harbringer if you don't have soo

grand master trait, give alac each time you apply barrier and also made your sand savant to apply barrier
How i Unluck the Pistols to use them?
You need the latest expansion to be able to use pistols as scourge.

I still don't get it. I have everything set up except for runes and sigils because they are expensive and I'm barely doing 14k. I can clearly see that in these videos torment ticks for 20k+ but for me it ticks for 1-2k. So what, runes and sigils increase torment damage by 1000%? Seems weird.
That seems like a golem setup issue. If you take the time to install arcdps and make a video or log for me, I can have a look at it. Make sure to have...

9 other conditions (you can apply all conditions, not a big deal)
All Boons on you
And for runes and sigils: just use something cheap from the trading post for now:
Superior sigil of earth is cheap, you can pair that with a sigil of demons/smoldering, which will at least increase damage a bit.
Superior runes of the afflicted/lich are also very cheap and will help increase your damage.
@@MaselMMO well, golem and boons were setup correctly when I tried before. However, those cheap runes and sigils you recommended almost doubled my damage and torment damage increased to 15k during peaks. Obviously I can improve my button pressing, but I guess runes and sigils do in fact affect damage this much.
I wish we could set up any build in the training area with any runes with any traits without having to buy or unlock them. It's too expensive to actually test things as a new player and I can't even tell If I suck at the game or my equipment/build sucks.

i prefer dagger/dagger and pistol/torch, for more safety and pretty good burts damage from dagger
It’s hard not to love main hand dagger on Necro. Just so strong and reliable, plus incredible sustain.
change the SCOURGE part. its not SCOURGE anymore if u use pistol
Ofc it is. If you're looking for RP guides, you need to look elsewhere. Pistol is a great weapon :)
