@@compactrhythm The Beginning is the song that helped make them internationally famous. You can expect most of their music to be more like The Beginning and less like I Was King. They changed their music to a more pop rock sound when they released the album Ambitions, which I Was King was on. But recently they mentioned that they're going back to the old ONE OK ROCK songs and won't be writing anymore pop rock songs.
he switch languange whenever he likes on the show i guess, like eventho they're doing show in japan, there's many fans from another country too.. and when he was in my country he's mostly speaking in japanese bc he thought like we can understand japanese well 😅
It took me out when you thought taka was saying “when I was gay”, loool. In many occasions, taka was coming back and forth north america and japan for tour, and it took a while to readjust your brain to speak japanese when you basically speak english 24/7 just yesterday or two days ago.
Ohh. Thanks that's really helpful actually because i have expressed some confusion in my videos about why he talks english during his japan shows and people haven't answered and one just called me racist but i thought it was a valid confusion. now i get it thanks
You should start the journey of this band. All their song are incredible, masterpiece, wonderful, amazing.. please reaction their live perfomances instead, i think it's better than the original ones. thank you
One ok rock is a Japanese band with a lot of western influence. Taka the lead singer sings a lot of their songs in both Japanese and english. Their song are almost anthem style rock. I always say that the 5th member of the band is the fans. They have collaborated with American bands like sleeping with sirens, 5 seconds of summer, teddy swims. Ryota the base is Avril laving's brother in law. They are signed by fueled by Ramen. Their recordings are good but their live performances are epic. I agree that you need to react to the beginning live. But, you cant go wrong. They are all outstanding musicians. They just finished a world tour that ran almost 2 years. This band plays in stadiums of 50,000 people to 800 people capacity venues with the same intensity and dedication. They love their craft. I think he went for that pronunciation of "king" (k-AY-ng) because it's more open to belt out. I myself also heard it as gay sometimes 😂
