Top 5 finish win starting 10th is a good night especially seeing you've not been racing in awhile. Plus the competition you were up against in a car your just starting to drive. All in all good night at the track.
With a little more gear an 15 inch tires. You can stay right with them . I have ran the 2.0l , 2.3l, 2.5l, 2.850, an a 2.650. I liked the 2.0l for stock racing. Good soild lift for factory and 9000 rpm crank. But for playing with them stock v8 cars. Build you a 2.650 aluminum rods and svo aluminum head wisco pistons. Dry sump oil pan 500 cfm qft carburetor on methanol and you will run off and leave the v8 boys behind. I been there. Good luck. Esslinger engineering out of california can help you find the right parts you need. By the way, the will need a ford 9" for that type of power.
@@bobbyholmes3985 it's already got 15s on it. It's got decent internals on the engine, but it is one of those toys that pretty well sits until we want to play with it. At this point, we're just surprised that it is staying together
That pintos halls ase! good luck next year.
@@Marcus-g6x thank you
