  • In light of the Seattle Viaduct going down, and the radical changes that will bring to the flavor and culture of the city, I'm sharing a couple of films I made for EMP/MoPop about the Music scene in Seattle. This was when it was a dirty little port with too many strip clubs, sailors, and dive bars were the only bars.
This one focusing on the Metal scene is interesting because there were metal scenes all over the country, but in Seattle, the scene evolved into Grunge which became a Global phenomenon and changed the city forever.

It was a fun time to be sure! We (Prowler) played at Lake Hills several times as well as the Battle of the Bands, Bars, schools, street fairs and The arena. It was a brotherhood of sorts, we open for them, they open for us, We'd lend and borrow gear. The parties were epic! Great flick, thanks for the memories Darek!
