If you use Pick up email using POP3, don't you pick up all received spam as well? So the disadvantage with forwarding from Outlook also exists when picking up POP3?
There are no less than THREE different Outlooks you could be talking about, and "slow and buggy" is pretty subjective. I'd need specifics to have an answer. For most people it's neither.
@@askleonotenboom I am talking about web version of outlook live and outlook office. It takes a long time to open the page and the to load the email, delete and view different folder. Also andriod app used for verfication purpose never works for me.

nope i never get spam in inbox only in junk folder have it set to exclusive everyting from contacts and safe list gose to inbox anything else junk

Yes, but a "picked up" email isn't considered actually "sending" the mail, and it's sending that triggers spam filters and reputation hits.
