Hi, I am from Bangladesh and you have no idea what breeders do in our country.before breeding we complete a vitamin and calcium course, which includes calcium,zinc, selenium, vitamin b groups and also a liver tonic.this course is actually beneficial.as in our country we get all kinds of medicine easily.they also do many many course like winter course, summer course,rain course, helminth course and many things.I dont prefer any of these,but I believe birds need helminth course once a year.

He would go down to see her every other month and she would come up here whenever she could cross the boarder to Canada. I was given the responsibility of cleaning the cages, and told to use as many wet wipes as it takes, my son also recommended your utube channel... Thanks for the videos...thanks to you my sons pets survived their grandmother!! Lol
Mr Snowflake is such a doting and caring bird hubby. 💕 poor Miss Nibbles must be just worn out. Hope they get a break. I remember my first time breeding, my hen lay 8 eggs and only 2 were fertile. The pair raised their 2 chicks very well.

@Anurag Halder well I am free all the time for next 2 months ( my exam in 3rd month)+ I have my sister who is also free (work from home) and i want to tame budgie. 2 budgie are hard to tame cause I can't buy 2 cages right now. Also I will be mostly free for next 2 years after exams.
Hello alen I have a serious problem about my budgie that is my female budgie lays 4-6 eggs but after 24 days the egg size remains the same Everytime she lays egg the egg size remains the same like very small and from any egg none of the chicks come out plz tell me what should I do about. I’m no expert, but my budgie when she laid eggs was sitting inside the nest almost the whole day incubating (close to 3 weeks). Does your budgie do the same or do you often see her outside the nest?
In December my budgie layed eggs and I decided to check the eggs if they are fertile or infertile(in January) one egg seemed to be frozen and the chick inside was not moving and after a few days I. checked again and a Miracle happened the same egg was having life! I got to realise that only thing the egg needed was time!
If you want one who is more attached to you get one. One budgie is easier to tame. I got two budgies when I got mine and it took me around 3 months to train a pair of male budgies. But now they are lovey dovey
One thing I would once again say that, please buy more than one budgie. Buy a pair please. It would rather get depressed and won't eat anything if there is only budgie. Trust me, I have faced it.
Always remember candling the egg is ok but always do not stick ur eggs too much to ur phones flash light cause some phones flash area containes high amount of heat and this can cause the death of ur budgie which is inside the egg but if the area of the flash light in the room temperature it is ok to stick the eggs to ur phone or to the flash area 😁. I am making sure cause to not do any mistake when ur doin it . Good luck 🙃

I think you're doing it wrong, bro. You should not candle the eggs so early, not unless they've reached the 4th day of incubation. You should not pick one every day to candle just like that. I mean, it's okay to do that if you have marked or numbered each one of them according to how many days each one has been laid (the age of each egg to be exact). The reason is, you might mistakenly pick the newer ones which have not even had 3 days of incubation and then discard them if you don't see any blood vessels forming. So, you're doing it wrong. You will see visible web-like blood vessels forming on the 3rd or 4th day of incubation. So, I suggest that you mark each one with a number so you will know their age, for you to know how long each one is being incubated before you do the candling. As a bird breeder, myself, that is what I suggest that you do. Well, that is just my suggestion. God bless.
alan you can keep the infertile eggs in a separate nest there are chances chicks will form my birds had infertile eggs but I didn't throw and I got a chick so try this method

Sand pots nest box are the best, for eggs to be fertile..because these wooden boxes not a curved one that does not ensures the eggs are beneath the bird correctly...So try sand pots next time
My agapornis lovebirds had the same problem. I got like 50-60 infertile eggs and I always wondered why? They were so in love and wanted babies. But after loosing them in years I studied more about lovebirds and found that a personata black masked lovebird can't reproduce with a peach face one. At least I made an omelette from 10 eggs just for the curiosity of how fresh infertile parrot eggs taste like, and they taste like chicken eggs 🥚. My lovebird hen was laying a fresh egg every day so why not eat them.The rest of the infertile eggs were hand painted and mostly gifted. I was a little kid and didn't know that if I keep the wooden box in the cage they will make a nest and make infinite eggs at that time. It wasn't my fault because I was inexperienced with breeding in parrots and I always thought that my parrot became like a hen and that it was normal for her to make a lot of eggs. Anyway I removed the nest and she stopped making eggs and regained her strength. But after years when I learned a lot more about birds I found that it was unhealthy for her to lay so mutch eggs. They consumed her body resources and make her weak and she can't even had the strength to fly properly like her boyfriend. One day I was free flying them, they always come back to me but in the end I lost them.Rest in peace my beloved lovebirds.
Budgies are lucky to have owner like you. My budgie Raja is only one survivor of his parent's family 👪. There are some of my budgie video on my channel Chulbul Natkhat Raja. Must watch how a budgie love humans.
I agree with some of the other comments. I believe you're candling too early. You're going to want to wait to candle until 10 days after the 3rd egg has been laid. Most hens of birds that produce 4-6 a clutch will not incubate 1 or 2 eggs. My hens will not start incubation for several days after the first egg is hatched and I won't see anything in the eggs for at least a week. Especially in smaller eggs.
Your budgies are awesome :) have you tried using UV lamps for birds? Didn't see them in the videos I watched from you, I wonder if they can help for better breeding process. I've noticed myself my budgies got really much more energetic and happy after I bought lamp

Hi I have an urgent question to ask. My budgies recently had babies and I know we have to clean their nest every week. Well I placed one of the babies down on my coffee table and it ran away and fell off the table and onto the wooden floor. Will the baby be okay? Will it die? I’m scared that I might’ve given it a minor injury but when I picked it up, it was fine.

Same happend with me i think it is calcium problem keep a calcium block in ur birds cage
