Thank you! I was just in Laodicea a couple weeks ago and the great thing I learned was the imagery Jesus used of the hot springs, as an object lesson to them.
I've been telling people that I've never once heard this preached on and how actuslly going there was enlightening.

Some 5eachers believe lukewarm is most obviously dangerous of all 7 Churches represented.
Some churches in America have become lukewarm as they don't preach much about hell, sin or the last days and try to keep large crowds and money coming in by teaching mostly pleasant things.
Jesus wants His church to be taught all the new testament scriptures rightly divided so His church will be prepared for the future and cleansed by the washing of water by the word of God.

I believe the new testament "and" the old testament. the n.t. gives reference to the old testament many times, for instant the purpose of studying the word of God, you would "rtn" to the o.t. to comprehend the reference...
The book of acts is where the n.t.begins prior to was ushering the teaching of salvation/grace and mercy thru the scarificial lamb
The lukewarm church ...Jesus outside the door of the church .. knocking..happening nowadays..the dangerous church
Theologically sound teaching in a very theologically shaky world .
