Thank you! I was just in Laodicea a couple weeks ago and the great thing I learned was the imagery Jesus used of the hot springs, as an object lesson to them. I've been telling people that I've never once heard this preached on and how actuslly going there was enlightening. Thank you for going there and sharing this! It's the first time I've heard it shared by anyone but me.
Amazing content and video!!! For me, seeing these visuals, and understanding really why hot and cold was used in the scripture really makes it set in for me!!!! A true understanding now! 🎉👏🏼🎉👏🏼✝️
There’s a lot missing from this video, I assume because of time constraints…but when Jesus says “I will spew you out of my mouth”, the Greek word for that literally means vomit, not spit. See, the 2 sister cities (Colossae being one of them, the same ppl Paul addressed in Colossians) one had hot springs, the other had cold, and LAODICEA had no water source so they had to pipe in water to the city from one of the sister cities by a pipe chiseled out of rock which was about 6 miles long, calcium and other deposits would taint the water making it smell and horrible to drink, visitors who took a drink of this water would literally vomit from it. LAODICEA was known for silky black wool textile, clothing and a medical “school” where they claimed to cure blindness by an eye salve produced there. A lot of the cities are very much worth studying. Makes the scriptures make even more sense. This church in particular reminds me of the American church. We need to repent and turn back to Jesus! God bless you all!
Shalom and blessings from the Father, our Elohim Yahweh יהרה in His Son’s matchless Name Yeshua יהרשע haMashiach Our Master and Messiah. Ahmein and Ahmein.
Some churches in America have become lukewarm as they don't preach much about hell, sin or the last days and try to keep large crowds and money coming in by teaching mostly pleasant things. Jesus wants His church to be taught all the new testament scriptures rightly divided so His church will be prepared for the future and cleansed by the washing of water by the word of God.
I believe the new testament "and" the old testament. the n.t. gives reference to the old testament many times, for instant the purpose of studying the word of God, you would "rtn" to the o.t. to comprehend the reference... The book of acts is where the n.t.begins prior to was ushering the teaching of salvation/grace and mercy thru the scarificial lamb
It actually is... But you must look to the Church of the Philadelphian experience as it exists along side Laodecia... Note laodecia is about to be vomitted out by God. Christ is not in there
Thank you for this solid theological teaching!
Ooh one of the 7 churches in Revelations ....waiting for this one👍

Some 5eachers believe lukewarm is most obviously dangerous of all 7 Churches represented.

The lukewarm church ...Jesus outside the door of the church .. knocking..happening nowadays..the dangerous church
American churches
Theologically sound teaching in a very theologically shaky world .
