Firstly, she is not the engaged umpire (who doesn’t see the foot either) and her view is partially obstructed. Secondly, she saw smth but isn’t sure. Her college didn’t whistled, so “Play on” is the right call. Thirdly, she immediately called the VU on is own referral to check it. Perfect umpiring
Freeze on @03:51…what is this umpire doing??!! Multiple defenders breaking early with feet on goal line and one with hand on front of post (also an early break)… Multiple Spain attackers feet and sticks on and inside circle (also early breaks). When are FIH going to bother sorting their umpires to run PCs correctly? And if not, then change/do away with section 13.6 of the rules. Joke.
No advantage gained : “play on” These rules are amongst the ones that shouldn’t be applied *stricto sensus*. A toe on the goal line cannot give you and advantage. (Agree with you on the hand on post though)
@@DrElectroShock Rule 9.11 is the ONLY rule that includes no advantage/disadvantage to opposition and that is about ball striking/being propelled by foot/body. Section 13 is all about set play procedural rules. I’m not saying the umps should be penalising, they should be controlling the PC (esp with time off now) to get them set up according to the rules.
Vissers might be the best shoot out keeper
First goal was shot from outside the circle!!
Was a tip-in
@@elisee9935 Should have reviewed, can't really tell.
@@Flynnbojangels the rewind says it all :)
Me gustan mas las reglas anteriores, el juego era más leal y de más habilidad.
Why is the winning team always the display pic... removes any excitement!!
How on earth does an FIH ump with an unobstructed view miss the feet on aerial control? Madness.
