Talk about a perfect ride! Nice horse, beat one of the toughest fields ever!
No.Just plain no.
that last turn before the straight was a very sharp/tight turn, Auguste Rodin took it like on rail's.....what a brilliantly well balanced champion race horse he is,,,,🐎⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
As good of a ride as you're ever likely to see. Keep seeing people saying he was lucky to get the rail. If you watch what he did down the back straight and as they approached the bend it was pure genius in the saddle.
Was Aiden laying the ground for a tilt at the BC Classic next year with Auguste Rodin with his comments about how comfortable he was on the dirt?
Apparently, thats the plan. What a race that will be. Legendary status if he wins on the dirt
Not many tracks have that long of a start and entrance
Race Call:
Larry Collmus
Ryan moore schools Irad!
Moore Got Incredibly Lucky The Rail Parted Like The Red Sea...Irad Gave Up to The Mark a Perfect Ride...Just Beat by a VERY Good Horse Who Had a DREAM Opening to Get Through
@@jackwoods9604It wasn't luck he's just a far better rider than everyone and he knew they would swing off the bend the way he kept that horse balanced and skirted the paint was exceptional there was no luck about it, it was a superb piece of riding.
@@goodbyebluesky43 Right That is Why Both Jock and Connections Mentioned They Got Lucky up The Rail...Gotcha...Be Well
@@jackwoods9604 Yet every presenter and journalist said it was an outstanding piece of riding and 95% of people who have commented on it have said the same. There's not even a debate to be had it was a brilliant ride. End of chat.
@@goodbyebluesky43 I Never Claimed That it Wasnt a Good Ride
If the worlds best/experienced jockey RMoore was fined for whip use and winning(seems to be a trend in big races in many countries) - Then do away with the whip in races.
Norway did that years ago with no issues. What the rest of the world is waiting for is beyond me.
@@martinsutherland5502 when did a Norwegian horse ever win any race of note anywhere in the world
@@martinwalsh5513 The major point is that the times run in Norway were no worse and the incidents were no greater after the whip rule. It has nothing to do with the standard of horses in Norway, that is a separate conversation.
@@martinsutherland5502 You obviously don’t follow horse racing .times are mainly used in American racing .not so much in European racing.its about tactics
@martinwalsh5513 You are missing the point I am speaking about whip usage, performance and safety. None of which were impacted in Norway. Whips are allowed in 2yo races to correct the young horses that are still learning. Times? Try being a handicapper and doing it without times. Have horses gone slower in jurisdictions where whip use is restricted? I think not. Take care Sir
Great ride, but he had the confidence of a jockey who knew his horse would go through the gap, and had the gears to do it !
Most Horses Would Go Through The Gap if The Horse Still Had Energy Left For Stretch Run...Rail Opened up Like 6 Paths
Up to The Mark Ran Great...First Time Way up in Distance and Against Top Turfers and.Had Some Trouble in Stretch But Came Right Back Again and Was Slowly Gaining on The Winner Who is a Top Euro Who Had a Golden Dream Trip
Legendary men and horse.
Up to he Mark Ran Great First Time Going 12F and Against Some of Top World Turf Horses....Would Have Won if The Rail Did Not Open Like The Red Sea For Ryan Moore in Stretch
IDK, it looked like Rodin had a lot left! And it wasn't really that close, and he didn't go that wide!
@@chrisp.9172 Was Only a Half Length and Rodin Was Ridden Hard to Wire...He Had The Better Burst to The Lead Though...Up to The Mark Made it Competitive First Time 12F....As a Bettor Taking Shots Surely Was Not a Great BC For You...Lot of Horses i am a Fan of Ran Great and My Lock of The Day Was 16-1...I Did Just Fine in Profit Along With Great Moments as a Fan
Ryan Moore is insane!
I always find it very funny when the Europeans comment on these races. When they win they’re better but when they lose it’s because the horse was tired or they raced him too soon leading up to the race. Example: Dancing Brave. Moore could never compete with Irad Ortiz. He was on a much better horse but out Ortiz on the winner and he wins by at least 5
I can't agree more, it's pretty hilarious. It's been this way for years and years. Pretending like grass racing is the superior test also makes me vomit.
I can’t disagree more. If you know horse racing you will know that Dancing Brave is one of the greats of the last 50 years.
I was friends with with a bookmaker and we had long discussions before the derby. I thought he could win but Terry said it was
Too fast and couldn’t get 12 furlongs. Turned out he could but in my opinion couldn’t go left handed at 100%.
Harwood said he lost a lot of weight before the race.
@@ethanatworkdirt is not the pinnacle. I bet a lot of reasonable grass horses would be greats on dirt. Cigar is a good example.
Some run on grass better and others don’t.
@@roberthartley6629 I know this
Your talking nonsense Moore never rode Dancing Brave ,and it's a fact European jockeys are equal to any jockeys in America
"winner" got hammered by older horses in Europe.
Ace Impact would have annihilated "BC" winner.Utterly destroyed this monkey ! Ace Impact - by far the best 3 , 4 and 5 year plus, seen in a long time. This "winner" couldn't beat Ace Impact ! Absolute no chance, on levels.
ace has no chance to win in bc or jc. able to get second. but equinox and rodin are champion of oval turf track.
@@田所浩二-l9l JC - is a joke.Any track Ace Impact is 8+ over this winner.BCup isn't about showing race ability - understand this.
Ace impact shd have been in this race. He was retired far to soon.
I agree, but you could argue that if Equinox had run in this race, he would have beaten ace impact, and these too ?
We'll never know, he has a Group 1 at 2 years old under his belt as well as an Epsom/Irish Derby , an Irish Champion stakes and this race .
Far more travelled than AI
How far was AR in front of the Arc third here ???????????
This is probably the worst breeders cup that I've ever seen
How so?
carlipseu6496
You know nothing!!!
Oh you must be smart
I agree! 7 out of 9 favorites, a 2nd choice, and one long shot where I actually bet the favorite. 3 repeat winners, I don't wait all year for the Breeders cup to bet an 1/1 shot, and hit a $16 exacta
