This must be a difficult time, but I have to say you truly look so beautiful and healthy & I’m grateful that you’re as well as you are. Wishing you lots of comfort and relief during all of this change
Thank you so much, Flo, for your beautiful comment. I am so grateful for living in truth. It scares me that I could've lost so many years to a relationship that wasn't 100% honest. I hope you've been well!
Oh I am so sorry to hear this, I hope that with time your heart will heal. Going through cancer takes its toll on relationships thats for sure, you aren't alone there
I’m so sorry you had to go through this. My heart breaks for you, but you made such a brave decision and you did the right thing for YOU. Hugs and love from me to you beautiful girl. 🙏🏼♥️🙏🏼♥️
It's very very common for partners to show infidelity when their partner is sick with a life threatening illness. Sorry you had to experience it. Glad you're doing better.
I think given enough time this is something you can get over with him, like you said you have been through a lot together. Cheating is such a taboo, its a very terrible thing no doubt, but it also has this stigma and social pressure that it is completely irredeemable. Obviously it is completely up to you what you want out of your life, but it is a shame to throw away a relationship of 10 years over such a low point in the relationship.
Kudos to thinking of your long term future and not the quick fix make-up potential. Takes maturity to do the right thing. I'm sorry you are going through this but behavior like that tends to escalate and it could be a blessing. God Bless
This woman is an 11/10, has a 5+ year long distance relationship with a Dutchman she met online, battles through cancer and wins, then said Dutchman cheats... Online... Meanwhile, that's enough internet for me today!
Yeah... I'm still reeling from the entire experience and anyone I explain the story to in depth is completely baffled given the lack of typical warning signs. Anyways... Life is strange and some people are deeply wounded in ways that are invisible to everyone including themselves. Thanks for your support, Brent. I hope you're doing well.
Your life..you do what you think is right..you will be ok..us now ..after cancer . what.. and who is now imported..like our health...you coming first..look after yourself..do the importend stuff..looking good!
I’m sorry for your loss but he really needed to man up and take care of you before himself. Yes his mental and physical health matters yet his cheating online there is no excuse for. He needed to be much more stable than apparently he was. You didn’t get sick on purpose but he cheated on purpose. That’s the bottom line!
when you said "he's been my boyfriend for the last 10 years.." That's not a good sign. Of all the couples I know, the ones that are happiest and married the longest got hitched fairly quickly (less than 1 year).
He suggested that we should get married a few times during our relationship (in fact the last time was two months prior to me finding out about his infidelity) but I wanted to wait until we were older and I had finished my studies. In Australia it's not typical to get married under 25 years old but I know that other countries have different norms. Anyway, hope you're doing well J Barry.
I broke up with my ex 2 years ago and he was there when I was sick, but man he do things that I couldn’t forgive. You’re so strong for sharing ❤️
Thank you for sharing too. It was a really hard and painful decision. I'm sure yours was too.

Thank you, Cynthia. My heart has been healing well. :)
People are imperfect, good for you to decide how much imperfection you can and can’t live with. Don’t blame yourself. 💕
What a wonderful way to phrase it "good for you to decide how much imperfection you can and can't live with". I love it. Thanks for commenting, Angie!
You are so beautiful and well-spoken.
Thank you, Rias.

Do not worry. If you are truly better than the other woman, he will return back. Just focus on your health for the time being.
Huh? There are always better women than us, that's not the point AT ALL. And, it doesn't sound like he deserves a second chance.

Your comment is very insensitive. Not everyone wants to be married.
