UPDATE: Hey guys! I posted this video 2 years ago now (how insane?!). It mostly focuses on on-campus accommodation at the University of Sussex, but I have since found out about a platform, called Amber, that offers a wide range of off-campus student accommodation in Australia, Europe (UK, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Spain, etc.) & the United States! They also have low-to-high budget options & flexibility in size (en-suite, studio, multiple-sharing). If you want to check out their platform, you can fill out the personal assistance form for accommodation here: bit.ly/amber_cheryl #ad
@@simarwadhwa3809 Eastslope for nice, modern accommodation! I stayed there and it was quite nice, however you share with about 11 other people so can be quite a lot! But you’ll make loads of friends. Brighthelm is also very cute and quaint, you’re sharing with a lot less people (maybe 4/5) and it’s like a small student village, very cosy and sweet
This was super helpful! I'm heading off to Sussex in September and the stuff on the website just didn't seem explanatory enough, this was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!
Yess please do a video on how to get a Tier 4 Student VISA!!!! It’s almost that time...Starting uni in the UK this September so I’m really enjoying your content x (Zimbabwean🇿🇼 btw)
Thank you for this helpful video! I guess, your Norwich house doesn’t have a social room. Do you have enough opportunities to talk with other students?
1) How did you notify Wits about your interest to transfer ? 2) When you received your credit for your modules in June, what did you do between period of June and September like did you leave Wits or what ? since you said you left for Sussex around September if I am correct. 3. Have you returned to Sussex yet ? And What is the university planning for students entering the university this year and next year ?
1) I didn’t notify them lol. I just deregistered 2) Yeah I left wits and I basically had like a “gap year” for a few months 3) I have a life update video coming soon with my plans for this academic year so keep an eye out for that! Like most universities, Sussex is introducing blended learning where some of your classes are online and some seminars are in person
i've never shared a bathroom in a uni type situation, but from previous experience with siblings and friends its usually pretty easy as long as you both keep the space neat and have a schedule on who gets to use the bathroom at what times (ex: if you need to leave for class earlier than your flat mate, you should both agree that you get to use the bathroom first since they have more time).
Hi! I’m not quite sure about that. I know they have family flats but I think it’s for married couples or student parents. But I’m sure you can email campus housing and ask them!

I have applied to Sussex but i cannot afford ensuite accommodation, what is it really like to share a bathroom with others?
