I'm very happy I found your tutorial, because I have the same issue on all of my 5 ISDT Q6 chargers. I found a far easier way to clean => I used a pressurized air cleaning can, the one used for cleaning computers. I sprayed air exactly on the sensor, through the case, at it works fine now :)
Oh wow, I have exact same charger and same problem as yours... I saw your video and was about to heat the screen to open it up, but before doing that, I just wanted to test it again and gave a good shake to the charger before last testing, and Voila, the problem itself solved 😂😂 no need to open, no need to blow air to clean also.... Not sure what happened.
I was already close to buy a new encoder (cen652812r01) but this worked almost as good as a new one. Accuracy enhanced from ~50% to 95% I would say. Thanks a lot

Dude! You just saved me a lot of headache. I can confirm that this method works
good video monsieur!!
Thanks for your support !!!
Hey, bro very nice video and a useful one..but how to fix back the screen? Do you have to apply any glue again? If so, which one?
Thanks. I didn't had to add more glue. The original glue was still sticky enough.
@@dududu7694 Ok, but in case that glue isn't sticky, can we use any rubber based glue like Uhu POR?
@@watharkar7374 I guess the thing is you may want to be able to open it again in the future, in case it needs some cleaning again.
i used contactcleaner without opening it and it worked from the wheel holes and from the airvent beneath.
awesome. I needed to clean flux residues on encoder pcb contacts to fix encoder problem. Your disassembly guide is very very useful! Thanks!!!!!

Great video i have the same problem... thanx
Cleaning the outside of the device with alcohol helps due to some alcohol penetrating inside but really the device needs replaced.
i dont had a warranty sticker lol, and one screw was lose
хахаха) серьезно? Спиртом протёр и всё? У меня не пашет, видимо дохлый сенсор.
Мне не помогла протирка спиртом. Продувка ненадолго помогает
