The Slide Bunny Hop in this Game is genuinely broken and wayyy to effective imo. Also the amount of times I died behind walls or didn't hit any shots "apparently"is insane
Man the bunny hopping is ridiculous just put a 2 second time out on jump button this would fix the bunny hopping issue.
I honestly just moved on from online fps games. Life is way better
less stress, there’s more to life than just video games

I couldn't agree with you more on this. The bunny hops are insane I had one guy in my first game who hopped as much as that person you ran into and I was getting shot around corners.
I couldn’t careless what this game has as I’ll never touch CoD. I’d rather play Xdefiant than any CoD. Imo I’m having a blast with it.

This is the exact thing I’ve been saying for a while, even if CoD took out SBMM the player base is just sweaty asf regardless.
All i ever wanted was a casual shooter and i was actually looking forward to this but i log into a sweatfeast game where everyone only goes echelons and cloak not to mention im somehow getting hit the moment i go around a wall and my bullets dont register

Bruh I played 30 matches and it was a sweat fest. Bunny hoppping every match. I felt no difference in sbmm between xdefiant and cod. Also it’s exactly the same feel as it takes a shit ton of bullets to kill and they kill you instantly. It was sluggish as hell too. I already uninstalled it 😂. I would rather play cod cause at least it’s smoother and it feels better play style wise. I’m completely disappointed brother.

Yea man on my 3rd match, it was already in progress, it took forever to kill someone and this S tier sweat lord gunned me down instantly before I could blink my hype for this game was dying but I decided to give it a go and it’s still the same since last years beta😔😔

I didn't have a chance to play the previous beta but i was able to get in last night and play a few matches and i agree with all your points here. The game felt really clunky in general. Movement was sluggish and every gun fight just felt off. The sweat was definitely there although i attributed that to being a beta and mostly populated with the CoD sweats who have been holding their breath waiting for this game to release.
Either way, this game has a lot of catching up to do with CoD in terms of smoothing out the game play movement mechanics and making the gun fight feel snappier.
XDefiant in it's current form is definitely not going to kill CoD but i think there's enough going there for it to be a fun gameplay experience in the future.
Thank god this game is "Free to play".

You can change to input matchmaking to not play with keyboard and mouse players with controller using reverse s curve feels better than standard but still it is a sweat fest but I actually go positive in this than 20-20 in cod so idk def needs more polishing or whatever
I may do a lot of sliding and jumping, but I definitely don’t do that shit at least I don’t think I do

There’s no SBMM in the beta. The reason there’s so much bunny hopping is because a lot of cod players migrated to xdefiant and your average cod player now is a bunny hopping sweat. To an extent I’m starting to believe it isn’t SBMM that’s ruining cod. It’s just your average cod player is a bunny hopping Gfuel drinking booty sliding sweat.

There’s a huge protected bracket of casuals & noobs none of us see unless we do something shady. And sbmm has engineered this new gen cringe tier of sweats to feel like they need to play like this the entire time they’re on the game.

Im not sure if the game is not doing that well or not many ppl aren playing xdefiant, But i found it rly weird being able to match with 2 of the same players in previous matches in 2 other ones. That shit only rly happens to me on snaller games like splitgate

First game on and I’m already getting spawn trapped lmao keep getting braindead scared teammates and constantly leaving, the sliding is kinda weird and slow but the game it’s not bad it’s just we can never get an actual casual fps now that everyone tries to get into esports and acts like there’s money on the line on every match but like you said it’s early to tell
And the other day when you mentioned about Fallout 76 I tried it out after 2 years and it’s actually a lot smoother now idk what they did but it’s slightly playable now
The gun play just seems off to me maybe with some fine tuning it'll get better but I cant tell any difference between this year and lasts years beta. I know call of duty bunny hopping is bad but in this one it seems thats the only way they can move. However I do want it do good on release.

Well, there's no going prone position in this game, they already added a mechanic to make it difficult to aim accurately while jumping...personally, i get extra satisfaction every time I smoke some clown in mid air lol 😆

It's clunky,but you can fix that with little tweak to the settings. The bunny hopping is never going away with cross-platform, PC has the mapped keyboard one button jump shots.
That's why you turn off cross play. PC player's are the majority of sweat lords

Too bad this beta doesn't feel nearly as good as the one a year ago the game felt fantastic and it was a blast to play now it just feels like it's clunky and constantly getting shot around corners. And every time I play a party or every few games I'll just randomly get disconnected from the servers with an error

Playing this game made me appreciate COD. The movement felt horrible and clunky. This game needs a lot of work.
Here's my thoughts on xDefiant:
-I don't think it's a COD killer not even close due COD is more casual and a bit more stable than xdefiant (besides EOMM)
it feels like it caters more towards bunny hopping sweats or those that take it seriously. HARD on the bunny hopping. Your operator should get tired of jumping too much.
-I like the no SBMM idea it plays great, and its awesome I can just get into a lobby and play without the hassle of searching for ping, lobbies feel organic. However it needs team balancing at least ,teams feel one sided sometimes. should focus on connection and team balance.
-The servers is a big turn off feels like its not ready at all to be released. So many errors and trying to play with friends is a chore because of it. Friends and I notice high ping at times.
-The one thing I'll disagree on in this video is the KBAM. The aim on controller and KBAM is both inconsistent in this game where other wise in other fps games kbam would have that advantage.
-Camera angles and getting shot through walls most of the time is an annoyance. This game isn't ready at all.
Other than that great video Gilmourrr, I've enjoyed your thoughts.

this game has the same issues as CoD: SBMM, netcode issues and aim assist broken as F, it is that or the netcode is so broken that felt that i was melted in .5 secons by any controller player, it is just not worth tbh

The Game feels like a worse BO4, The servers, hit detection and aiming needs to be improved. I honestly dont have anything to Complain about the Maps, theyre better than anything Cod has made since Modern Timelimit 19.
I dont believe in this game not having sbmm, theres no one ever going off insanely, theres no one completely getting destroyed.
XDefiant is seriously undercooked - looks and plays like a PS2 game, COD definitely feels more polished and jsut way better

I played the game for a hour and for me it’s just feels like a generic cod clone with horrible game play it feels clunky and outdated.
Go play Black Ops 1, MW3(2011) or Ghosts. I think you'll Find the FPS experience you're looking for. Xdefiant is an alternative that has potential but it ain't no COD killer. Bad Game design, EOMM, Cronus, and Engine Owning are the COD killers.

This game missed its opportunity! Cod has made 3 games since this game was announced… the only good part is it’s free and it has nostalgia from Tom Clancy games. The sbmm won’t matter because shooters all play the same these days it’s false hope. Players will flood the game with same exact gameplay as what you see in cod just without streaks.

Bullet velocity is trash shooting at someone they just run pass the bullets 😂 and the aim assist seems to be working against you so many times I shooting someone and I’m being pulled away from the enemy had to turn the AA down might even turn it off
