Tengo el gusto de escuchar a la firma desde la primera vez que lo escuché yo tenía 33 y me gusta asta ahora me sentía orgulloso de decir que yo era el fan número uno de la firma y regalaba los CD a mis amigos y les decía escuchen esto es musica perrona de la firma,sigo escuchando ésta musica jamás me aburre el mejor disco para mí es , para recordar,por el amor de una mujer, buena suerte todo el disco,creo que todos, pero me identifique desde el principio con esta música hay canciones que pensé en su momento que era mi vida hecha canciones, saludos y es para mí un honor escuchar ala firma los admiro,soy de Veracruz pero ya llevo años viviendo en Ecatepec edo México y aquí en México los escuché la primera vez y viví en EEUU y allá compré varios cds de la firma si los e visto tocar en vivo vinieron al rodeo santa fe,mi esposa me regaló el boleto y me dijo ve es tu grupo favorito.
I believe there are not many drummers who truly appreciate or understand the details of your drumming when you were with La Firma, (not even the new drummers and musicians who have joined the La Firma since then play with each other with such detail as you did compared to when they now play songs you recorded). You and the original La Firma were innovative for many reasons: you successfully played the bajo quinto with keyboards, you successfully played the double-bass drum in Spanish grupero music, you played two different cowbells for lyrics and choruses, La Pantera played the bajo quinto with double-strumming, Mauro played Colombiano style music on the bass guitar and also a played a certain type of progressive, jazzy and syncopated upbeats and chords, his musical playing and sound compares to that of Jaco Pastorious and Victor Wooten. Alberto played many fifth- chord melodies and new and different keyboard sounds, Juan played actual single-button type melodies instead of the typical chord-style melodies that many norteño bands do. You were the first drummer I ever heard who played the ride cymbal bell on the sixteenth upbeat during a chorus or how you played the hi-hats differently. La Firma’s arrangements were new, original, inspiring and they created a foundation for many groups, especially in the Tejano genre. I also recorded many songs on the yellow drums at ProSound studios with Chuey in McAllen, Texas a long time ago. Even though I didn’t speak Spanish very well during that time, I knew that, back then, La Firma’s music was what technical musicians appreciated and respected. I am not saying that La Firma’s new musicians aren’t talented, because they are very talented, I just think their new original songs don’t represent the distinctive and original music of La Firma. I have lots of respect for your style of music and how the original band members played together. I and many other musicians still use many of your techniques and still appreciate the original La Firma music. I think the first three albums were the best albums that La Firma ever recorded. Que buenos tiempos Adrián, recuerdo en esa época vinieron para Aguascalientes y me traumé con su presentación, yo tocaba en un grupo y ya nos sentíamos la firma aunque nosotros tocábamos pal perro 😂 pero hasta nos queríamos vestir igual...( tenías mucha creatividad) excelente 👌
