This is great, thank you for making this. It was helpful to have all the different parties explained along with the visuals you created, which made everything much easier to understand. And it's not 30 minutes long like so many of the other "Dune explained" videos on RUclips. 5 minutes is perfect. It would be great to see another video like this for Dune Part 2 !!! Please make!!!

Sorry how is anyone supposed to gather this from the movie? The movie does not hint or provide evidence to all these facts you just spilled.

This is one of those movies based on a book where the audience is pretty much obligated to have read the book first. In my opinion, books like the Dune series should be brought to the screen in a TV series format. Game of Thrones is a great example. People can enjoy watching that series without the need of reading the books 1st.
Nah you were just not paying attention. I came here looking for something they might have missed from the books, but this is all the basic staff from the movie

@@guihuppe fair enough, I just think if their going to make a movie in a generation that has never even heard of those books until this movie had come out, might want to put a tiny bit more explanation in the movie it self. Because I can guarantee you that teens or people in their early 20s ain’t going to read like 7 books that they have never heard of just to understand a new upcoming movie. But then I also like how it doesn’t and it just assume you know, kind of the thing they don’t do with super hero movies they always follow the comics the exact way just assuming no one has ever heard of the character and then it’s just the same thing you know, nothing special, just full of the boring back story. So they did a good job for the people who know, but for the 80% of people who don’t know, movie confusing asf, sorry for the yap session btw :D
