Helpful advice. Some harsh truths there I didn’t expect. However I think one should be careful not to spend TOO much on marketing and leaving out effort on the product part, lest one repeat Cyberpunk 2077’s mistake But I guess it’s all a matter of balance.
@@raseruuu3742 That's hard... I'm not a fan of visual novel and i don't like VN games, I made it because it's the only thing I can code. I sold it for 2.99 usd, although it's weird. When i sell for 2.99 not many buys, yet when i made a sale; 0.75 usd people bought it for 6$ lmao.
Thanks for this! As a little solo dev, understanding marketing basics is massively helpful.

Really useful information, thanks!
Very helpful video, thank you!
This is a good video, definitely favoriting and sharing!
I made an hour long of a VN, how much do you think I should sell it?
Depends how much you'd want to buy it for if u were the player

@@CookieeMonstarr666 Where did you sell it?
Hey!! I may be coming late to this video but I have a quick question. What would you do instead if it's a Eroge or Erotic dating sim...?
Okay boomer
