Mr TK, you're spot on. From my POV I suspect Stellantis is in the initial phase of product and manufacturing consolidation . Yes, expect further layoffs and plant closures in the USA as well as other non profitable sites. The European Business Model is a Matrix system, by design it is to streamline and shrink redundancies to maximize efficiencies and cost control. I remember when the CEO of Stellantis was asked about the Big 3, his response was... you must be referring to GM, Ford and Tesla, Stellantis is European. Folks, the Chrysler of today is not your daddy's Chrysler Corp. It's been long gone.

Down with Stellantis! They deserve all this bad press. I hope they sell the Chrysler brands back to somebody in North America assuming all this carnage Carlos caused is irreversible.

Why don't all STLA stock holders just sell their shares now for $16 per share ? just bail before the stock price goes to $1 and let somebody else get stuck holding a worthless stock. Just asking.
If all the stockholders sold the price would go to zero. When you sell someone also has to buy.
@@natec599 Over time the stock price might go to zero. If I sell my STLA stock for $16 per share to John Doe, I am out of it and I don't care if it goes to zero. That's now John Doe's problem not mine. The last guy holding/owning the STLA stock when it goes to zero is the biggest fool in the market. lol

Stellantis may not recover from this. If you're being sued for fraud, the chance that you get out of it is slim to none. The fact that there's a lawsuit against Stellantis for fraud should make Carlos rethink on his plans.
The stock keeps going up.its over 16 now...i think the market is deaf to all its problems and won't listen until chapter 11 comes.
It’s easy for Stellantis to deceive the shareholders by making grand claims about the success of their company in front of the press. People and media are going to buy it unless they can suspect something doesn’t add up
It won't be long till Tavares is out. Hopefully, someone is brought in who can save it. And the U.S. division is split back off, at least in terms of operations.
I think he'll be gone by the end of the year and I hope whoever takes his place can save it and save the American brands

John Elkann set off to destroy Chrysler way back in 2010. He targeted Dodge by dismantling Conner Ave (viper operations), separating Dodge from it's trucks operations, shutting down the museum at CTC and moving in Alfa Romeo and acting like Chrysler doesn't exist.
