I've been doing this for over 30 years with different brands. This particular brand is not give you enough powder or liquid in each packet to cover the Denture really good.

Nope still not close to being snug. No excess material to cut off. When I first got the denture they fit because gums were so swollen from extraction. Started having problems within 30 days. Dentist wanted me to buy a whole new denture which I couldn't afford. Ins said I had to keep them 5 yrs before they would pay again. Dentist relined it which lasted 3 months before again falling out. I use massive amounts of adhesive. A whole big tube in a week trying to keep them in. Can't eat with the dentures as they fall out with every bite. Should I use two or more packets of reliner until I can qualify for new ones later this year?

We're sorry to hear that getting a good fit has been a struggle for you. In some cases, it may be appropriate to use two packets if the dentures are severely loose.

Should I leave my denture out for a while before I fit them? My gums change shape.
I have used the product ❤ it's very nice 👌 so smooth and snug. I don't use adhesive at all.

Great question! It isn't necessary to leave your dentures out for a period of time before fitting, however, if you feel that it would provide a better fit, there should be no harm in leaving your dentures out for a period of time prior to the fitting process. We are glad to hear that you have had great results with Reline-It!

Can I use it for silicon-lined denture?

The only problem with this kit is the “spatula” isn’t a spatula. That awkward curvy tool shown in the video is terrible at mixing well and worse for spreading the product on dentures. Especially the upper denture. The mixture will set-up before you’ve had a chance to spread it all over the denture, let alone spread it in a nice, even, thin coat.
The first time I bought the kit, I thought perhaps I just got a box that accidentally had the wrong “spatula” placed in it- as it’s the same tool for the “Repair-It” product and the temp filling product. (The pic on the Reline-It box shows an actual tiny spatula.) Nope.
It appears Dentemp is just using the same tool for all its products now.
I’m sure that move has saved the company a few (thousand) bucks, but it’s made the process of re-lining a denture more difficult than it already is. I had to throw out the first two batches because of this. So I dug through my cosmetics stuff until I found a tiny spatula used for applying creams & masks. (Don’t fret… I’ve never used it before. But I cleaned it thoroughly anyway ;) That works MUCH better than that “one size fits all” awkward tool shown here. I do wish Dentemp would go back to using the actual spatula in the Reline-It kit. I have to try a different brand for relining once my substitute spatula becomes unusable.
I’ll take any recommendations from others here if you’ve got ‘em!

Is this product for immediate dentures only or for permanent dentures also, I have both so either one would help , I just ordered your product today and hope to try it by next week on my immediate dentures, thank you..

Great question! Reline-It can be used on both temporary and permanent dentures as long as they are not flexible dentures (Valplast). Hopefully this is helpful in answering your question, but if you have any follow up questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at consumeraffairs@doc-brands.com

I recommend 👌 putting the stuff on evenly and not too thin of a layer, don't press your teeth together really tight, practice pressing your teeth together 😀 a few times before 😊 and soak them in hot water 💧 keep it hot 🔥 🥵 😜 😉 I do a fresh one every couple of months 😉

Written instructions are different from those shown in the instruction video. Would you care to tell me which one is correct or do I simply never use this junque?

Can it be done with thermosens dentures?

    • @dentemp

It has not been tested using thermosen dentures, therefore, we would recommend consulting with your dental professional to be safe.

Hi, great question! Yes, if additional adhesive is needed for a more optimal fit after relining your dentures, you can use that on top of Reline-it.

How do you take the product off the denture?

    • @Lazerbadger2
      @Lazerbadger2 3 месяца назад

You have to scrape or cut it off. Be very careful to not damage the border of the denture or inside of it. Make sure you read the instructions carefully so you know what to do.

I soak mine in hot water for about 15 minutes. It kind of peels right out slowly, though.
